  1. .....reminds me of something I did a long time ago :o
  2. You have a point FunkiSi, I like the other panel but it just doesn't seem to sit right on the front of a Z. Been bothering me for the last few weeks because I love the rest of the car so much. Stillen it is :)
  3. Just a bad pic! in the flesh it takes on a different look as you walk around the car....sort of!!
  4. mix it 50/50 with lager. Could be a hit!
  5. LOL, that occured to me Pk, smooth is nice, gotta admit :)
  6. I fitted the stillen one today, it was won by a member in the raffle who kindly sold it to me, because I wasn't sure I liked the fibreglass one which has been on the car since december. For such a small detail, it really changes the whole character of the front. Think i'll keep the stillen, what do you guys think? Cheers.
  7. nope, mine are a dull white light. They do throw the light out as in danny's bottom pic, but not much brighter than parking lights when driving.
  8. Danny, sorry to say it but my bulbs , the H3 100w xenon are dangerously dim also. After I fit them on tuesday i realised the nissan ones I took out were a lot brighter. I wasn't going to mention it because I thought it was just dirt inside the lens but now i'm not so sure, bad batch perhaps?
  9. Got mine on monday, cheers Vin! i'm now officially hooked on "LOST". :hyper:
  10. Not cheap. 170 sterling. Although saw a thread here last night about the primera matrix, costs about £50 and with some modification you can make it fit a 300. Do a search under heater matrix. Interested to see how you get on as mines an auto too.
  11. Kersh, I have the same problem, begun yesterday. Steam coming from the passenger footwell, heater not working properly. I've ordered a new matrix from MJP, Mike gave me good advice on how to remove the dash and replace it. Has to be done soon, can't see a thing out through the windows, and it's a kind of oily mist, as you said, smells like antifreeze. Let me know how you get on, Mick.
  12. sorry Tulip, almost missed this one, I'm definitely up for it. Richie, the guys name is Ian Byrne, one of the few Nissan mechanics in Ireland trained to work on the ZX. Now runs his own tuning garage "cartork" in Clane Co. Kildare. His No. 087 2535227 or 045 893718. So that's 6? of us for march. Any more???
  13. wish I had a manual  that's next year!
  14. No I didn't , thankyou! to be honest it was Greg's car which gave me the inspiration for mine. subtle mods, still stock looking. I never intended to mod it, always loved the original styling, but this place is catching....know what I mean?
  15. keep it, at least you know where you stand with it, and not have to start all over again with a car you're not familiar with.
  16. LOL! I now refuse to park it in carparks where people will open there doors and scratch it, the kids are banned from riding their bikes in the yard and I will only use a carwash that has warm water, not too hot. I've got to get a life :xxx: :D
  17. Very Nice compliment funkysi, Cheers :duffer: and yep that occurred to me after I pulled back in and my heart jumped back into my chest!
  18. or just buy Clarcksons hot metal DVD as I did BECAUSE I CANT GET BROADBAND AND MISS ALL THE GOOD VIDEO CLIPS YOU GUYS POST :headvswal I remember downloading the Z dream commercial last year. took me about 9 hours, stayed up all night to see 30 seconds of film!

  20. never saw it before , very good and very true :p
  21. overtook about 8 cars and 3 hgv's in one go on the way home tonight. One of the few straight roads which I know very well, (I know, it's still a risky thing). Thing is I never push it to hard, usually spend more time looking at it and polishing it, but tonight I was stuck behind a long line of traffic , raining and miserable. No-one had any intention of overtaking so...I did the bold thing. sometimes I forget the power of this amazing car, she took off like a rocket , all over in about 5-6 seconds. WHAT A RUSH!!! i guess the cold damp weather must have added to the boost I got. Love this car, love it love it love it love it..... ALL on my private road of course
  22. WHAHEYY!!!!!!!........nice one tulip, yep that was me OK  . She should've stopped to say hello ! We'll have to get this meet sorted soon :)
