What connector is it?
Morning mate. This is my black car. The car was a series 2 and loom was moved over. So the cruise etc is in the steering wheel. Looks like the normal connections as far as I remember... unless I'm being daft which is entirely plausible

What connector is it?
Anyone know what these are for? The black ones seem to be in with the heating ducts wires, or nearby anyway, but can't see anywhere they'd plug into. The white one, is the right one I have hold of. Finally, there's a clutch switch. But there's no connector on my loom. I'm guessing this was due to it being a manual conversion in years gone by and that I don't need to care?

Interior air ducts
Thanks Andrew. You're awesome. Was ideally looking for the large lettering, such as DR-R etc. Should be able to work it out of course. But I think some attach to the back of the dashboard too

Interior air ducts
Apart from the below photo, I'm wondering if anyone has a photo of all the heating pipework that sits behind the dash. And if possible, a list of the codes on them so I can see if I have it all

Removing a SERIOUSLY bonded fibreglass spoiler
Mine seemed to be welded on too. Fortunately the old boot was going in the bin, so we cut it off... which is no help lol. Good stuff that seal

Water System
Cheers lads. Kind of want to look at my cap now. Anyway, i don't see why an aftermarket rad would work differently. My koyo always seemed full. Could it be if you delete the expansion tank and it's therefore not bringing water back? Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

Water System
Thanks mate. So where's the vaccuum vent valve the opens to refil the radiator Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

Water System
Andrew, can I ask a question on this... given that the radiator cap is sprung closed and the pressure moves it up to allow the water to pass into the overflow bottle, how does it then go back into the radiator when things cool down? I've never understood how this could possibly happen. So I'm genuinely curious about it.

ECUTalk gauge analysis
The throttle is still out. And the others are as well I'd say. I'd get the car up to full operating temperature first mate Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

ECUTalk gauge analysis
The AAC should be a bit lower too 15 to 20 I believe is closer to correct, but if you have an air leak, I'd suggest sorting that first Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

ECUTalk gauge analysis
Your throttle position is out. Is should be more like 0.44V. Your revs are a little high too if the car is fully up to temperature. Timing should be 15° - again when fully up to temperature Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

99 spec lights - Glass
Yup. That's my understanding. 99 has the writing in the red bit and 89 (Maybe pre later models, like you say) has the writing in the bottom. I know that's true of all the ones I converted for people as I looked through old photos last night Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

99 spec lights - Glass
Isn't the writing in a different place then may be? 89 spec at the bottom and 99 spec in the middle? Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

99 spec lights - Glass
Yeah, got them fairly cheap cos I knew they were cracked and worth just swapping the glass over. But would have been nice to find some proper fronts if it was doable

99 spec lights - Glass
They are slightly different though aren't They? I believe it's just the writing on the outside if that makes sense. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

99 spec lights - Glass
I have a set of original 99 spec rear lights but the glass is all cracked etc. I probably have some good condition 89 spec lights I could use the glass from, but before doing so, does anyone know whether you can just buy the outer lenses?

Painting roof bars black
I think I might give a quick wrap a try and see how it looks and unsafe it here. Then maybe paint it if I like it. Would paint it the same colour as the back lights panel - - - Updated - - - Thanks a lot mate. Are you on Facebook? Loads and loads of photos on there.

Painting roof bars black
Think I'd be able to do it fairly easily. My plan is to possibly paint the car again and then do the top at the same time. Could be worth painting it. Then wrap. That way it an easy change if I decide I don't like it at any point.

Painting roof bars black
You cheeky BAzza. I don't think the photoshop is a great image tbh. Looks a little blueish. You know me, I'll just paint it lol. That being said, my best friend has a signage company so I could wrap it completely free to see how it looks
