  1. Are the rears worth anything
  2. Was more whether there were any rare bits really. Personally I prefer the jap rear end (number plate and lack of fog) as I think it looks better. Understandable for the UK clocks, but I already have them in both my cars. Didn't give the fuse cover much thought either tbh
  3. I binned my old UK spec when I initially re-shelled too. What else is rare from a UK (other than glass)
  4. As much as I normally have stuff. Don't think I do. I know I chucked one once lol
  5. Are they rare and sort after?
  6. I've had those ones for years. Is there a way to do a test other than a dyno with and without?
  7. Good luck mate. Do pop in from time to time bud.
  8. Nice one Andrew. I wonder what number my old UK Z was. Is it the chassis number you'd need or is there a way to find out from the reg? Edit: found an old logbook. Vin is Jn10rgz32u0010863
  9. Just on sorting out the black car and have a couple of vac piping questions surrounding the boost controller and external wastewates. Question 1 Should the vac/pressure from the suction pipes be taken from both sides and then T'd into the boost controller solenoid or can I just take it from 1 side pipe? Question 2 Same question really but for the side ports of the external wastewates. For info, the boost controller is a greedy profec b spec 2. The turbo system is greedy td05 16g with external wastewates. The intercooler pipework is 2.5", so not standard. The turbo to intercooler pipes only seem to have 1 little outlet on each side. This knocked up photo kind of shows how I'm going to have it setup if I only need 1 rather than a T and both sides. Hopefully it's easy to follow
  10. So is there a better option available? TWINZ maybe?
  11. Thanks a lot for the advice on this - There's that one out of the question. Do you know what the OEM replica one he does is like, or does your comment suit for both of them as you're most likely to have seen everything you can get for these cars. And if so, do you know what/where does the best ones?
  12. The original 89 spec rubbery one
  13. Like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-MAD-CUSTOM-NISSAN-300ZX-REAR-BOOT-SPOILER-/351056636733
  14. Think I'll get a oem replica. Car.mad does these and the other one he made, but not sure which I like more
  15. I know what you mean bud, but I'm asking for opinions. Plus when you ask for which is best, obviously different vendors may differ in quality
  16. Yes, but what is the best available?
  17. That's my general feel too. Although I do quite like joels
  18. Wondering what people's thoughts are. I'm busy respraying my black car. Fairly stock looking but will have a front lip splitter type thing and side skirts. I'm just debating on what to do with the spoiler. It currently has a stock one, which isn't too bad, but also isn't the best. Wondering whether I should stick with a stock spoiler, or go for a different one, or none. Anyone got an opinion?
  19. I think its this it routes too Nissan Part No.: 28540-40P01 CONTROL ASSY-SHIFT LOCK
  20. Correct plug and 2 different indicators showing the connections
  21. Quick update in case anyone looks in the future. The black plugs are for the air mix doors/motors. In particular these were the ones that go under the main heater box (2 plugs). In my case there were some others plugged in which a little cut off which was why I was struggling to find them. The white plug is a strange one to me. Firstly the photo is the wrong one cos I'm rubbish. That connector was the one connected to the above mentioned loom. The other white connector is the same though! My car had the cruise on the steering wheel. I managed to trace 2 of the wires though. 1 to the cruise pod and the other to the cruise control box (hidden up in the dash). So I'm thinking, could my loom maybe have 2 cruise plugs. What's stranger is that when I pulled out my old indicator stalk, it has a spot for this wire as well as the normal indicator black. So I've plugged it in there anyway as the stalk was the one from my original car that the loom came off. Once I get it up and running I'll test the cruise. I took a photo of the 2 stalks
  22. It's no bother mate. Just some colour variations really. You only see it whenever the sun hits so could easily get away with it, but I want to do it. Darren has offered to sort it but probably just as easy for me to do it... finger crossed and that. Just going to get it all back together initially. Hopefully this weekend or next
  23. It is as Darren no longer has the garage. Needs a bit, but once I have all the bits (fee things missing), I dare say i'll be done pretty quickly. I'm working away in Halifax so only really have a Saturday sadly. I will need to spray it again though sadly.
  24. Thanks Lee. Is it the little white sensors that go into the plastic air ducking? There's a couple of them in place already and plugged in (because I thought it was them at first too). As for where the wiring sits next the the steering column, could you send me a photo of how it Looks? It probably just in the wrong spot.
