Painting roof bars black
You and your headlights man. My silver ones looked awesome at the NEC. I could however match it to the back panel

Painting roof bars black
Wanting everyone's thoughts. Should I do the roof bars black or leave them body coloured? I'm completely in 2 minds as I like break up of the black (windows and targas) but then when I look at some to the cars that have done his, I like them too.

D2 Coilovers
They're apparently just normal top mounts

D2 Coilovers
Spring rates are unknown but I'm told they're quite comfortable ride which is more what I want. They're for the blue car as I currently have Koni shocks and springs (I think) which aren't height adjustable. I'll find out about the hope mounts

How to value a Zed..?
Hi Mark, I work in insurance for one of the older companies (RSA/Royal sunalliance). Whilst I'm not one of the engineers that value cars, I might be able to contact one of ours to find out how they'd value it. As an insurance company, we generally use 'glasses guide' which brings through estimated values. It will of course then depend on the other things, like your knacked engine and gearbox etc. . In situations where customers are unhappy with insurance claim amounts (layouts for total loss), we would ask customers to then go out and get market examples of what similar cars are going for. If the solicitors need a professional report, they might take it from a professional in the trade such as Jimmer if that's something he'd be willing to do. I think there was once a guy on the z-club that used to do insurance valuations too

Just an update. Been away but when I got back I tried to look around for a loose connection believing it must be that. Turned out to be a bad earth on a bolt. All working again now

Nominal operating temperature
My black car didn't run the shroud and it ran lovely. It the shroud does naturally keep the cooling concentrated where it's mean to be. But I painted my fan and don't want to cover up cool 'I think I am haha

Nominal operating temperature
The stock temperature guage basically has 3 settings. Off, middle is and then high for overheating. So as long as it's central then you are fine, or at least within the rang Nissan set. About 79 - 80° is where mine sits. The blue one runs slightly hotter at between 83 and 86 but it's still within spec and the digital gauge I have is slightly higher than what the ecu is seeing on conzult. Hope the above makes sense

Alarm/immobilized help - I'm stuck
Mine is a Simga M30. From all the searched I do, it's an alarm that Subaru used quite heavily so struggling to find much else. It was fitted in like 2001 though

Alarm/immobilized help - I'm stuck
Thanks all. I managed to get the car started with an emergency code once neen found it. The LED isn't working at all, so I think it's something wiring rather than the fob. Plus it had worked perfect all day

Alarm/immobilized help - I'm stuck
Currently sat outside a sports hall in the dark, so any help would be greatly appreciated. The car was working and driving fine. Pulled up and got out. Car wouldn't lock/arm with the fob. So just locked with the key. Anyway, now I've come out, the fob still ain't working and the immobilized is on. So I can't start. There's normally an led on in the car, and that's not on or flashing at all so I'm guessing it's a wiring issue. Anyone know how to bypass an immobilized or have any idea where it might be wired to if it uses a fuse? Many thanks, Lee
