  1. Evans has been in the frame from the start, he is a car nut but you can see a TFi Friday version of top gear, probably TGi Sunday, ( Top Gear its Sunday). Give him a chance, change is as good as a rest and the trio could be quite tiresome with the same format every week.
  2. With a complete cock up job blending it in!
  3. "All the above works carried out by the previous owner, present on the car but no receipts." Counts for nothing without proof, although I love the idea of an immediate 100hp at the flick of a switch....Come on Noel you should do that rather then messing around with all that tuning!!
  4. Whilst the cars you have are very commendable, I am a little surprised you haven't seemingly done a business plan and as part of that assessed the market for the right products that you can sell. You will probably move the two you have as they have many desirable features about them, although you may have to look at the price if they sit around for too long, after which I would suggest stand back and do a little more research on your potential market and whether what you have to offer is going to be a real business for you. If you want a business name, you are then trading and by default required to register with the HMRC, so you need to be sure what impact this has on your business plan. Last thing from me, in your description on both cars, you advertise them as Museum grade!!! do you want people to consider they should never be driven and therefore require a collector as a buyer? Describe the cars as they are, fantastic to drive, in immaculate condition and real head turners! Just an example and again Good luck.
  5. God for bid it's a trend!!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300zx-/291492452971?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43de4dda6b
  6. What a Spot! A Z32 for Dog owners, Golfers...Police! Think that's where the inspiration for the Ferrari 599 must have come from!
  7. Hi Garry. You have indeed shown us two fine examples of Zeds, but you are aiming at the very top end of the market on price, when the rise in values of the Zed range has only just started showing positive movement. I don't know what research you did before deciding on the import models, but as you have now realised the preference in the UK is generally for Manual TT LWB models, which is why you see so many cars with gearbox conversions. The cars you have whilst immaculate are the leased desirable or have a narrow following, Normally aspirated cars are limited in their appeal because of the performance and modification factor and convertibles are a bit like marmite for many Zed enthusiasts, probably due to our climate where the benefits of a Targa almost meets that of a convertible but more beneficial as a year round drive (although many cars hibernate). If you going to look for a more specialist area then Slick tops and SWB manuals have a good appreciation in the UK, but as a new business your model should be based on supply and demand, supply good clean popular model cars, well priced and you will get the demand, but maintain specialist or least desirable models, no matter how clean and you will struggle to move them quickly especially at the top end of the price range as you seem to be targeting. As for the name, " Z Shed" anything in motoring containing the word "Shed" has it's own connotations whether its a double meaning or not, perhaps this should have been considered as part of your business plan before you started, but it may work, again depending on how you want to reflect the standard of cars and the service you want to deliver as a business. Get back to mainstream models and maybe look at moving the cars you have at a more competitive price, firstly to maintain your cash flow, establish your reputation as a trader for good quality, value models and then you can create a stronger demand for the models that would move quickly for you. For what it's worth, don't always presume, fancy alloys, body mods and upgraded interiors are the way to go. I can assure you there is a strong trend for stock high quality cars as the market values rise and a large number of Zed owners prefer the standard factory look with a few cosmetics. Good luck with your venture and don't lose faith...but don't sit on stock either, it will convey the wrong signals to your market.
  8. Looking at the fit, a light tap and it should all fall off anyway...time saved!!
  9. No it has compete running gear and interior.
  10. Auto flipped when you zoomed in...or you were looking through your left eye , not right.... Great photo Gaz.
  11. Very nice Zed buddy, really like the Alloys! I've heard that the Wilton Sunday meet is a really good one. By the way, I saw that Aston concept being revealed at Goodwood FOS last year as part of a design promotion for eco concepts of which a number of manufacturers took part, stunning in the carbon!
  12. On the back of the sad News about Christopher lee passing away, another great has gone. Ron Moody, perhaps most famous for his brilliant character of Fagan in "Oliver" the Musical has passed way at 91 RIP, Legend
  13. Lovely, Lovely, Lovely!
  14. Dracula and Scaramanga, two of the greatest Villains. Sad News, RIP Legend
  15. Loving that!, my only critical observation is the front ride height looks out of sync to the Drag look of the rear, do you have any room to drop the front further? That rear wing (lip) is a stunning piece of blending by the way.
  16. "welding"? why would you want to start of with a car that's already rotten?
  17. Take a moment to pause and reflect, then remind yourself that the freedom you have today, to take the decisions that affect your life, was earned by those few surviving and the fallen left behind in sacrificing theirs.! Indeed we will remember them.
  18. You've got to love this vid whether your into racing or not, we perhaps all wanted to have the chance to impress our old man behind the wheel, but this vid takes it a whole step further with Max Verstappen (17 and a F1 driver) taking Dad (Jos ex F1) for a little run round Spa in a Renault RS. Flat out through Eau Rouge the little shake of the head from Jos is priceless, but Max is so in his comfort zone he looks half asleep, a very cool customer. At the end Jos who I suspect is Max's biggest critic barely acknowledges a run that has clearly taken his breadth away. This Lad is probably a bit too young for F1 and still learning his trade at the top, but make no mistake he is the real deal! Enough of my rambling, hope you enjoy! http://www.gpupdate.net/en/videos/6313/max-jos-verstappen-tackle-spa/
  19. I think it's from the local sheet metal scrap bin! A potentially interesting project ruined..
  20. "So all in all more help than I thought they would be!" Hardly Will! Seems it's your process of elimination that's got them off their arse, would have been fairly simple process to look at the area covered by CCTV, but obviously too busy sitting on their £40K a year arses looking for motoring infringments to bother. Well done Sherlock!, hope they get the little s**ts
  21. Unnecessary scare mongering in this thread buddy, Groovers correct, its part of their security to ensure there isn't any false transactions after goods or services sold. Annoying and inconvenient if you've paid out twice, but it will be paid back to you. Did I mention about it suiting them for an extra 7 days interest on your money of course (and the other potentially 1000's out there)...but that's just the cynic in me!
  22. Oh Lord! :surrender:
  23. We'll have a whip round and print you a picture, if that helps!
  24. He had the chance to go with some Grace, but belligerent and delusional of his own power he had to seek re-election...now he can reside in the annuls of History as being divisive and corrupt as seemingly a sizable collective of the FIFA committee have appeared to be. I think he knows the FBI are going to come knocking and doesn't want to have to explain away his situation in the full public glare of office. Good riddance he is now as discredited as the game itself.
  25. For selfish commercial reasons, I doubt sponsors will pull the plug, at least not there liked of coke and nike who make a fortune out of FIFA. But the banks that back then may have to think twice. Dodgy dealings and financial supporters may not be far apart these days, but in the eyes of the public they make very poor bedfellows. What is amazing is the lack of candidates to run for these elections, Blatter was going to retire last time round, but still stood and one asked now he's here again with the opportunity to cover his trail from within, before the feds get him. It's not the only corrupt committee on the world stage. The IOC has long been in the frame for financial buns although they have probably routed that out, however it won't be long before the European commission had a look at F1... Now that's another can of worms!!
