Part worn tyre advice
Nope, I bought one this year for my civic before i partex'd it, same price as a part worn, that was 205/40/17 so not the average tyre.

New V5 came through today, and the DVLA are so wrong.
Yeah i've got on old one, i'll have to dig it out to check but i don't think it has the year of manufacture on it. I know i've seen the import date before but its the first time i've seen that.

?????? How would I go about finding out if it is a private plate? not that it'll worth anything.

Part worn tyre advice
I get part worns on both my cars, had around 10 of them so far. (over the course of the last 2 years) there's a garage near me that sells them, they're so much cheeper than even the most budget of tyre they do, and the majority of the time they're good brands. probably couldn't tell the difference between new ones. I got 4 Yoko's for $40 each But yes in this instance I agree, i'd get my money back.

New V5 came through today, and the DVLA are so wrong.
As title suggests I got a new pink V5 for my zed today, first time i've really looked at it to be honest, turns out its missing some information.... they don't have the model, the engine number, or even the number of seats. and it's apparently a 5 door hatchback. However it does state the year of manufacture as 1996, even though its a G plate. and first registered/imported in September 2003. but why would it be labeled as a 1990, if it was actually made in 96. also does that mean its got, or should have some extras that the older versions didn't?

Anyone edit Video's (adobe premiere/after effects)
As title suggests, was just wondering if anyone knows what the effect is at 1.22 2.47 and 3.26ish. I really like it but don't know how to do it. Apologies but the audio has been removed.

Went for a drive........
I still go quite often. I normally do set out a destination though, normally somewhere for food etc, but i do like to take the scenic route. I think you should come for a drive down to Teesside park on Sunday Peter and join our meet. would be nice to see the new kit in the flesh and that fancy Ipad thing.

Anyone fancy a meet?
Yeah thats a good idea, one of the car parks at the back near the road. The weather doesn't look too bad either......well at least dry anyways.
-
Anyone fancy a meet?
Yeah thats cool with me. its probably easier to go A174 all the way up to the A19, so wherever you want me to meet you along there.

Big Thanks To Jeff And Family, And Mark Derby.
I would like to see a tech thread Jeff, crack on. I'm gunna buy some 6x9's some time this week or next and i'll have a go at fitting them, but if it looks like too much of a chew then some adaptors would be great mark.

Big Thanks To Jeff And Family, And Mark Derby.
The Zedworld Team managed to sort my Zed out good and proper on Friday. Car runs brilliantly now and sounds superb. definitely worth the drive. So a big Thanks To Jeff, Jamie and Lynda for all there help. And also a big thanks to Mark, picked up the sub box he built for me before Christmas on my drive back home. The build quality is flawless, can't wait to get it fitted hopefully one day this week. So big Thanks to them and for the forum.....

Full throttle acceleration the nothing
I have this exact same problem. Its as if it loses all power, revs drop off and boost goes. it is quite violent. however its only occasionally. It used to do it loads when i first got it. i found it was full boost at low revs, (i.e. 5th at 40mphish) but then it just all of a sudden stopped, (maybe because i just stopped boosting at low revs) but now a year later, just after a service and a set of plugs its back. its done it to me once nearly every time i've driven it since the service. Good news is though it'll be seeing Jeff In the morning so hopefully you can shed some light on it then.

Stocks and shares
Think I am going to have a little flutter when pay day comes. I'll be hounding you for advice though. I liked the forex thing with the stop losses, but it was way to unpredictable, and i still don't fully understand how it all works.

Stocks and shares
I've always liked the idea of this, I'm at the age where I have disposable income so it would be a good idea to invest some of it. closest i got was a practice account on forex.com, but that didn't last too long, thought it was way to easy to loose. I really wouldn't know where to start with shares though....

300zx parts trading 2012
Just as an idea (please forgive my naivety) But why is it that the Traders have to pay an extra fee? Why not just reduce the fee to a minimum, and then include everyone that sells anything on the forum, weather it be a breaker they've bought, or some leftover parts from an upgrade they made. I've bought a lot of parts from here over the years, and if i'm completely honest, i have no idea who i'm buying from half the time, I just see the "for sale" signs and just have a look if there's anything I need. I understand i'm in no position to say anything about paying subs, as I'm still only a registered user and have been for the best part of 2 years (But I will be subscribing on payday). But if it was just a case of putting £5 on top of the subs to allow you to get rid of an old bumper you've got taking up space in your garage, then I'm pretty sure people would be prepared to pay it. I understand where Jeff and Lynda are coming from, it is wrong that they have to pay more to allow them to sell, when others can get away with it. And then having to pay income tax on it on top must be a right kicker. so why not just drop the fee altogether.
