  1. Think that'll be the thing. there's an abs ecu i think too, but not sure which is on which side, don't know if it differs to left or right hand drive.
  2. excellent Jeff, thanks. just to check It is under the passenger rear quarter interior panel?
  3. door seems pretty solid but to be honest it is one thing I haven't checked. I'll see if I can scope out the manual.
  4. Just wondering if there's anything to watch out for, do i need to have the battery disconnected before i unplug the old one? or do i need to do something with the main ecu after i've fitted the new one? Any advice would be helpful...
  5. Is there a way of pulling it in somehow? I'm guessing a bolt to tighten or something to the same effect.
  6. RRRs???? I've been in that position a few times mounting some L.E.D's so i know what your talking about. I'll be sure to have a look. Cheers.
  7. No i don't think its anything that bad, it just squeeks when its pushed, its deffinatly louder outside the car than in the car though.
  8. as title suggests, clutch is very audible when pressing the pedal, hope its not a sign that the master's on its way out. it was once an automatic if that makes any difference.
  9. [/img] Can't get the image to work, any chance a mod can help out? Came across this during my dinner break, thought it was a pleasant surprise
  10. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300ZX-SWB-TWIN-TURBO-ULTIMATE-300ZX-SHOWCAR-/170699040051?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item27be74a533
  11. I just bought a pair of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160523745368?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 same as the ones phutumsch said but a little cheeper. took a while to come but they do look the bee's knee's. I've still got mine in the fogs like, they do match the HID's I have quite well too.
  12. excellent, cheers bud that is awsome. Don't suppose you know if it is just plug in and play or weather there's any soldering or splitting wires?
  13. Just after some more information on the above. My fuel pump at the minute just pumps constantly without varying speed, (although it sometimes struggles when the revs are hunting really bad). I think I remember Jeff saying it was because the fuel pump ecu will have been shorted out due to it not working. So am i right in saying that if I buy another one (such as the one black magic is selling) and then replace mine the fuel pump will run normally and I'd get rid of the constant whining noise???? Anybody fitted one of these? because i wouldn't even know where it goes. As always any help is greatly appreciated.
  14. nope not yet, its still all over the place at the minute. Cheers for the tips boys, gonna have to have a good luck when i get a bit of daylight.
  15. It was all set up last time i was at zedworld, so i don't know how it would have adjusted itself....
  16. yeah I had that a while ago, got the old resisotor in now solving that problem. I think it is gunna have to be a trip to jeff. need to get my shaft seal changed and the rear tie arms swapped before any long drives though.
  17. the temp sensor was replaced last time i was at zedworld. so i don't think its that, although it wasn't a brand spanking one fitted. I don't really know what colour it was that came out the back, i wanna say a sort of brown beige colour as opposed to the expected black.
  18. This has been going on for quite a while now, and slowly seems to be getting worse. The idle revs are hunting quite badly majority of the time although not all. (no correlation between engine temp) and it seems to be quite sluggish through the range when giving it some poke. Then last night for some strange reason as i was pulling out of a junction I gave it a little bit of boost but it didn't really seem to go anywhere. it did sound quite strange and it kicked a cloud out of the back. tried it again when i got it into second and the same thing happened. but then a couple of miles down the road and the problem seemed to have disappeared. When the idle revs are steady they do seem a little high, and now when the temp is cold the revs seem to be excessively high for quite some time (1500rpm) I've already checked the throttle alignment and they seemed fine. but haven't fiddled with anything else for fear of making it worse. As far as flash codes go they were clear the last time i checked (just over a week ago) but haven't had time to check since last nights hiccup. I know another trip to zedworld would be most helpful. but I've got a few jobs i want doing before I take her on any lengthy drives yet. So anybody got any ideas for the time being?
  19. not sure how to remove my email address, but it isn't any great emergency.
