Misfire or fuel cutting at 4k revs
I had some running issues a while ago like this, my idle was erratic though. Jeff sorted it out by changing a combination of things. The throttle alignment was out, and one of my o2 sensors was ****ed. Its been unplugged since then and runs fine. I also had a hks twin mushroom filter fitted without a maf sensor in, so thats been replaced with a single cone filter with a maf. The twin filter is for sale if anyone wants to make an offer?

Pbryant Knight, Are You Still On the Road?
Just wondering if the beast is still on the road, any chance of you coming to the meet next Sunday? Haven't seen the car in the flesh since the kit and respray. would be nice to get a few of us there. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?162023-24th-June-meet/page2

24th June meet?
Well I'm happy with a 12:00 meet at Tpark, and then we could decide where to go from there when Paul goes to work. obviously depends on the weather though, my back end isn't to fond of the wet. As anyone heard from Nigel? Jaylock from Yarm said he was gunna pop down too.

Some jobs today but not sure
It looks very tidy, I like that wheel, and I really want your handbrake handle.

I've had a Ripspeed one for around four years. bought it from halfords. still going strong although it could do with the laser been cleaned. think they sell a more updated one now for around £200.

Audio - connecting amp to speakers
The Live has to be a single cable direct from the battery to the amp. its not too hard to do, there's a hole under the near side wheel arch, then just run it under the carpet and behind the rear seats. Its not as difficult as it seems. then the Rca leads run on the other side behind your pedals and then under the drivers door to the boot. not too sure about a carpc though. never played with one of them before.

How about sunday the 23rd? Majuba road in Redcar. If the weathers nice it'll be a good day. There's a burger van and ice creame in the car park.

I didn't know there was a zed living in saltburn though. I think we should get another meet sorted sometime soon. There seems to be a few more in the local area than i thought.

If I'm honest I'd be lieing if i said I knew what an EGR was. but basically your saying its not impossible to make it fit?
-
How many different Plenums are there?
So could this prevent it from been fitted? or is there a quick way around it?

How many different Plenums are there?
As the title suggests, does one type of plenum fit all models? jap, uk, TT, Na, Manual, Auto, LWB, SWB?

Re-trim done, and a valet.
Thanks for the nice words guys, means a lot. Dave the stickers are only there for a piss take, the plaster at the front is just to acknowledge the fact that the bumper is ****ed, i think its been repaired way to many times now so i think it maybe time for a new one, possibly a scarab one or one like yours. Unless the Lord answers my prayers and i somehow find an Impul one. And the engine code stickers are because a lot of my friends drive hondas so they've all got "b18/vtec inside" stickers, so just to take the piss i thought i'd get one just to show them what a real engine is. they'll be coming off when its finished. I never new what my front bumper was though, i always thought it was just a scarab, so thanks for that. Rich the stereo plate maybe yours, it came with the fascia i bought off someone on the forum (personally I'm not a fan, I don't think there's a single piece of nismo kit on the car, but i'll swap that when I can eventually be arsed) Although the photo isn't all that great, the momo footrest you made for me is fitted. I'll get a better photo when I remember. The re-trim I didn't do myself, I stripped out all the parts and then dropped them off at my local trimmers, 4 days and £400 later I got them back all red and shiny, he did the whole of the rear quarter's too, so the black bit looks really nice now and feels a little better. Cheers Lee, nice of you to pop on and have a look. Hoping to see you at a JNE meet at some-point over the summer (and I do remember you saying you want first refusal when I come to sell it) Probably start another thread for this but my insurance is coming up for renewal in the next month or so, but i have no idea what to insure it for now, anybody got any ideas?
