electric window issue
I know this one has probably happened to a few people but thought i'd start a new thread anyway. My drivers window is playing up, sometimes it just needs a few goes but today it just didn't want to come back up. I could still here a relay clicking when it was pushed but no movement from the window. ended up taking the door card off and then having a play with the switch, and simply by giving this unit a tap it sprung into life. The plug seemed pretty sound so i'm assuming it must be a dodgy contact somewhere. Anybody reckon its worth removing and trying to save?

Signature pic help :-)
I made mine in paint, then just uploaded it to photobucket, took a couple of goes though, it kept on turning out massive.

Before & After Pictures
Whats the crack with the reg? is it road legal? how do i go about getting one? I did think at first the spoiler looked a little wrong, but the more photo's (and that video) I see of your back end I really do love it. I think its the combination of those massive rims and it been slammed on its arse makes it look fat as hell.

Speaker advice
Yeah on the audio menu its got levels for base, fade, etc, i've got the bass turned down now and then compensated for with the sub. i'll have a look on ebay etc see what speakers i can find. Cheers Mark.

Speaker advice
not sure how to adjust the cut on the sub, not too sure what al the dials are on the amp, i know one of thems gain. Does it matter weather the rears are single channel or two? I don't have any idea what the output is on the bose amps though.

bump, nobody got any opinions on some nice 6.5"'s???? wattage? channel etc?

I'm happy with it....very. but have to keep the amp turned down because it drowns out everything else. thats why I'm finally upgrading my rears.

Speaker advice
So having now bought Craigs Bose speaker boxes, i now need some speakers to sit in them. what would be the best type and kind to compliment what i've already got? In the front i already have some 6" mids with a crossover and tweeters And in the back i have the sub box from Mark with my two 10" sub and amp. And i have one 6x4" in the rear compartments (the other one's f*cked, cheep ebay sh*te) All powered by this (soon to be replaced) So i need something to try and replicate the noise that i'm missing from a pair of shelf mounted 6x9's So if anyone else has the bose enclosures, what have you got in them???

detachable power tool power cords
There's no problem at all. but best off check what current the tool will use. basically what size fuse is in the plug. And then just make sure the adapters are rated for the highest one. and then just use any 3 core flex cable to power them. unless there a class 2 item so they don't require an earth so could also use 2 core cable http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IEC-MALE-FEMALE-3-PIN-KETTLE-CONNECTOR-PLUG-DISCO-PLUG-REWIREABLE-250V-10A-/280917443301?pt=UK_Computing_Sound_Vision_Audio_Cables_Adapters&hash=item4167fc02e5 There's a link to the type of thing your after, could maybe find some nice ones with a clip, maybe even an indicator light. I just use battery tools, Dewalt all the way!!!

Yeah it has changed venue's, apparently if even half the guest list shows up they would of ran out of room at dalton park, so they've decided to change it to teesside park now. Hoping your all still coming.

Got a clay bar kit today, lots of pictures.
This does make a lot of sense. in essence all its doing is picking up all the crap out of the paint. mite have to give it a go if i ever run out of this clay stuff.

I think the deal is still on, 3 for two for any cleaning products. It took two of us about 30 minutes. but we were claying and then waxing panel by panel. may have another go with the wax later today if i get a spare 20mins.

The kit was £25 from halfords. came with some wax, spray stuff (lube) and a block of clay. and two cloths. didn't even use a 3rd of the clay.

Took advantage of the 3 for two at halfords and bought myself some goodies. The clay bar kit took some time but it feels so smooth, definitely worth it. quite proud of the effort i put in, don't normally wash it myself. Got a little camera happy though, i've uploaded them into my albums section but there was too many for one album so ended up with 3. Here's a few though for those that are too lazy to look. Pictures really don't do the job justice though, may have to invest in a better camera at some point. Exhaust really needs a good going over, I think a nice polishing bit for my drill and a flapper wheel to really make it gleam.

One for any auto electricians...
Have you got the switch wired correctly? I don't think it's a two way switch, it should just be a single switch switching between two of the terminals ie the common and L1. the extra terminal is just a neutral (earth) to allow the L.E.D to light. just try a couple of different combinations of the switch if you haven't got a multimeter.
