  1. not too sure how to upload pictures on here yet. I got mine from Marton, just over the road from Kirby college. A friend of mine was doing the plumbing at the house and saw it on the drive. it had been stood for nearly a year, so got it for cheep, had less than 50k on the clock though. needs a respray though, the spoiler and front bumper are aftermarket and the paint doesn't match at all. The spoiler is the same as yours i do beleave, does your radio arial extend? mine doesn't, so i thought it had been disconected because it doesn't have enough clearence next to the spoiler.
  2. That is a nice looking one. Where abouts in middlesbrough are you? I'm in Redcar. Funky Si, how would i go about re covering my windscreen/roof weather bits? or woud it be better to just get them tidied up and then sprayed when i get a respray?
  3. After reading the flash code from my ECU, it stated code 34, which is Det sensor, i then tested the O2 sensors using the ECU, the right one was fine, but the left one was reading lean (with ocasional blips to rich if the revs were blipped). my logic tells me that, if the left o2 sensor is saying lean (due to it being f**ked) then the ECU would put more fuel into the left bank, (hence my majorly over fueling) which would then possibly cause pre ignition (detenation) which would then come up with fault code 34. Does this sound possible? has anyone have any sources for any o2 sensors, its a manual twin turbo import. my local nissan place told me £117 + VAT, and they're apparently on 3 weeks back order. chears Steve
  4. chears guys. having read a bit more into the loose gear gaitor idea making 2nd and 4th audiable, i have come to realise that when replacing the clutch, i didn't put the heat sheild back on (basically because it was a chew on) so i think that may reduce the sound deadening aswell, so i'm just gunna keed drivning it and see if it gets any worse.

  6. how much do you reckon we'll save with a group buy?
  7. how long have you had it? does yours sound like its getting worse?
  8. thanks dre, i had a look at that preveously, it does sound similar, i've took the leather gaitor off to check but i think in doing so it then took off the rubber ones so couldn't tell if they wer allready off. i'll give it a propper test tomorow.
  9. Its a 1990 manual twin turbo. i get a little noise in 2nd and 4th, it sounds like its wearing somthing in the box. just had the box out to replace the clutch so not looking foreward to doing it again. i didn't notice the noise at first because there was a horrible whirring sound from the fan on the interiour light, after changing the clutch and sorting out the fan noise i then discovered the gear box noise. its not to loud, but very distinktive in 2nd and 4th only. gear box oil was topped up when the clutch was changed so i don't think its that. any help would be greatly appriceated. Chears Steve
