  1. Hey gary, i joined the forum a few years ago with a different zed, and made my reappearance with my shed i have atm. As i renewed not long ago (april) is there any chance of a packup? if not theres no worries :) Thanks anyway, Hollings.
  2. Cheers mate, well it's still going to have another 2-3 coats of rustoleum combi colour on top of the 2 coats of rust bullet. I'd be weary of it chipping though so may apply some underseal to the arches only
  3. Around £280 http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=7.18105 http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=606&Car_Type=300 I got these kits from mad motors with about a 3-4 week wait
  4. cheers guys, hopefully it will look a lot better once ive re-seam sealed and then put a nice top coat on. the colour ive chosen is 'squirrel grey' hopefully it doesnt look as dull as it sounds haha
  5. And for the painty bit.....I must say at 2 hours per single application i was high as a kite doing this!
  6. Well ive only painted the rear arches so far and had loads of grinding to do, which i didnt do with a moan or to i must say!
  7. Woohoo update time! Now 'cause im painting all the underside and trying to make stuff look clean, here is a pile off random underside + misc items which is going to get coated in the powdery stuff... Well more like one pile i have anyway.. And again because of the whole shiny thing Ive given my fuel tank a lick of paint.. Now after going into this depth of a build it would be pointless for me to take all the control arms and so on off the subframes to get powder coated...but not replace the bushes. so here is my lovely box of energy suspension (probably thinking why am i looking at a box..? yeah im just putting pics in now to make my thread big haha) ..said box. And heres some bush melting pics Man what an arse the subframe bushes are...they just dont give up!!
  8. Wheels look similar to wolf race sharks.
  9. There's even a buy now pay later scheme on this! Get yer names down!
  10. I bet your pleased with that! What a power figure on such a good looking zed. Best of both worlds!
  11. Argh I keep watching this thread waiting for the answer!! Stop dangling carrots haha
  12. Welcome, and nice colour! Any more pics :shifty:
  13. Excellent, less body roll and less comfort is a plus for me.
  14. Looking forward to this also....as this is a guessing game ill make a slightly less educated guess than other people as to the parts fitted with a 440fwhp
  15. Would you like info such as 2+0 or 2+2? just thinking if you have surplus of one and not the other. Hollings.
  16. Ill have to sample this as now i realize how local he is. and if a hand is ever needed, id be happy to hold a torch! Nice to meet you also Keith.
  17. Big thanks to lee today for helping me out! I Will be unfortunately for Him going there more often as not only a good garage but good company too! Thanks again!

  19. Have a look on my thread mate I've used rust bullet and its crazy stuff used on marine equipment and In some cases give a 5 year guarantee
  20. Now for the Rear Right arch..
  21. Well after some etching and loads of grinding and looking like a chimney sweeper running out of a smokey garage when the grinder caught a bit of seam sealant, i managed to get a little paint in the rear arches... Not the finished product yet but its an improvement i think.....hope.. Left Rear arch. Fuel Filler Hole..
  22. During all this the grinding was getting boring so i bounced between jobs, Here is a pic or 2 of removing stuff The 'lumpy' engine Gearbox before and after its lick of paint Dont mind the paint on the Diff bushes...they're coming out! For cleaning the G/box and the back of the diff (ali part) i bought some ali clean, and man does that stuff stink along with the metal blast 'acid etcher' i bought. but the ali clean really did get a lot of crap and gunk of the gearbox so the new coat of hammershite can make it look all pretty Dash removed to allow access to the EFI Harness and the A/C parts behind the dash. also i got to see how much of a Bodge the alarm fitting is. I should get some pics but i was too busy raveling it! A/c Crap being removed. every little helps eh!
  23. yeah i assume it was a squirrel, They were the edible kind anyway...not that i tried them or anything.
  24. Well from there i got to work with my grinder and £15 B&Q drill and set about removing this mess!
