  1. Haha this thread spurred me on to do mine, i managed it with some of dunelms own heavy duty spray glue and some black 'leather' lol which i agree is better than that tweed crap. but yeah deffo looks the part nice job and your seats look sweet too im still stuck with tweed :( Hollings.
  2. very impressive, will most likley be adding these to the shopping list. keep up the good work :D
  3. Did you design those yourself or did you buy the covers from somwhere and get them fitted? cause they look lush and i wana get my hands on some quality leather trim like that!
  4. Sweet ill come along too if i get my bumper fixed cause its in peice at the moment need some fibre glass filler :
  5. holy crap thats one toasted zed. Haha sounds gay but i drive like a grandad i cruise everywhere to conserve fuel, ofcourse it isnt the most economical car but doesnt hurt to conserve what you can in a car you like ;)
  6. second that half is missing from mine, kinda new to this so you can get them from the Zed center?
  7. Finally found out how to work this stupid thing haha, as you can see on the right hand side of the bumper is damaged and drooping due to a mount being ripped of (not my doing) i figured my options were fibreglass filler and patch respray or new bumper and respray....which would you think would be more cost effective and easier? As you can see the elbow grease a vax and a jetwash with some turtle wax upholstry cleaner brought those mats up quite nicely. thanks guys
  8. Thanks all, i found a break in the yellow wire trailing from left to right haha thanks a lot guys.
  9. lol Telford Westmidlands, well yeah about the insurance they had a field day on my ass! just fixed the stereo turns out there was no wire from the ignition to the stereo to allow power when ignition on so yeah got that one. now ive just found out my 2 right rear sidelights dont come on but the 2 on the left do. this is a fault isnt it and it isnt some crazy parking light or somin. the bulbs aint the problem if it is a fault, its the housings or wiring but i cant figure it out without a fluke or somin :bored:
  10. i havent taken any yet trying to get the Stereo working, i managed to get it to make a noise as if a cd spinning when i plug the connectors in, but once all connected the stereo doesnt turn on at all. stereo isnt faulty it was working in my clio about a day ago. :(
  11. Wanting to keep the original mats though the shagpile look is wierd but i like, was thinking some strong carpet cleaner and jetwash from a range or so...
  12. Last night i purchased my first Zed :D after trading in my clio 182 cup, lost a lot of money but so far worth it. i now own a 1991 Auto twin turbo 2+2 z and its amazing, the sence of presence on the road is overwhelming. i got my first of very few mods this morning...Aero wiper blades! ;) needs work doing such as new heater matrix a service and some fibreglass filler also i think the NS front damper is knackered. Also any got any good ways to clean up the original mats its as if they have been dipped in Mcdonalds chip fat ovens then been dragged through a quarry so advice on that would be helpful. so anyway yeah, hey all.
  13. Hey is there any chance you could post this write-up, as i too will need to change this, would be appreciated. Thanks Hollings.
