I would be interested to come. i have only recently got back on the zed scene with a kaput Na swb but in the process of the TT conversion, and my clio 182 cup isnt really worth putting on the RR. Either way if my zed is ready or not, i can be there :)
  4. Excellent mate good figure! What power specific mods you have?
  5. Yes please silverline! You have pm
  6. Anyone have a engine crane they are not using at the moment which I could borrow for a day or two? In the Telford area. Thanks, Hollings
  7. http://www.twinturbo.info/ Some decent stuff on there mate - - - Updated - - - Dammit
  8. that looks nice, id pay attention to the inside of the arches and see how they have been cut and shut. you don't want the inside of your rear quarters to be exposed to the elements.
  9. Hey daffy nice bike, i have had my license for 2 years now and have not long owned my SV650 and its bags of fun and sounds the part too! its no 900/1000 of course but for now it 'would' be good fun if this weather would go somewhere else! The new license system is very, thorough now which i think is mainly aimed to deter young riders as there is an obscene amount of tests to take, Anyway good luck and have fun! Hollings.
  10. Welcome to the forum mate but first things first....pics!!! There ain't many targa topped zed a that don't leak but can be remedied by giving the seals a warm bath, bathing them in peteoleum jelly helped mine or replacing them, but they are not cheap! Wide arch kits are a pretty penny to fit. They require arch cutting and welding, and A lot of prep, not forgetting the respray at the end ofcourse but they can be found as a lot on z centres website and I'm sure you can get some others from the USA. But anyway, welcome. Hollings
  11. its expensive. ive seen kits as low as £600, but then there is a arch fab work to be carried out, and then fitment and lots of filling of the kit, and then ofcourse respray. Wouldnt be able to give you a figure as it depends where you go and how good their work is, but id say this job would be good for only a reputable bodyshop, and would be £3500+ inc parts....but that is a rough figure. (and probably a low one)
  12. few pics.. and when we got home. With my assistant.
  13. Yes ill be needing TT stuff, some advice and some good banter again. Thanks guys
  14. Lol I'm towing it still!!
  15. Hey I sold my lwb tt last year for a Clio sport 182 cup and a Suzuki SV 650, but it really....wasnt a zed so I got a new one! It isn't running at the moment it's a silver swb manual n/a which I hope to convert to tt cause the current engine is knackered! Also make it all Shiney and blemish free! Here comes take 2!
  16. They will have a big Arrow on the tyre for correct rotation though, unless the tyres have been put on the wrong way :(
  17. Nice find dave, had a read of that and found it quite interesting. Thanks, Hollings.
  18. Depending on what gauge it is and what features it has would govern where id put it. A normal gauge as baz said in line of side or close too would be ideal, but with most now you can set higher limits giving a warning tone when reached. with those i would move them to a more 'head down' location. My favorite position has always been mantav8's center vent builds!
  19. hahaha thats brilliant! i didnt expect it to be zed related..
  20. hahaha this is awesome ! and to think this is happening in shrewsbury, i need get down there and have a gander at whats happening + Rebel scum is just around the corner from me...lots of knowledge to be learnt here. Good work Andy/lee ;) Hollings.
  21. Just had a quick read of that mate, and that is some awesome work and dedication there!!
  22. As would i, awesome interior, one of my fav...second to the 300 ;) ...When its not in pieces that is.
  23. ahh she got the 1.8 20v turbo? a friend of mine had one of them and had a remap, and it was quick! he got rid for a s4 v8 but he missed the TT just because of the fun factor.
