  1. i managed to get 340, as the fuel light comes on when going from oxford to telford, and back.. but when going round town it nearly halfs, whilst driving sensibly also.
  2. wouldnt mind seeing your EL plate and how youve done it they look like a right pig to do!
  3. welcome to the club mate, your 300 looks immaculate! hope she treats you well. sorry i know little about the z32 and even less about the z31, im sure someone in the know will give some info if they already havent soon.
  4. Im an Aircraft tech not currently on a squadron, i was on 101 squadron with the VC10, but was put on some courses, and should be back on first line in march again and i cant wait! Yourself?
  5. Yeah, i wouldnt get using energy drinks, cause while doing the 1.5 mile run you will burn it and if you crash while running, you wont feel to good. Usually on the treadmills you can put in preset workouts like graphs, which change the speed or incline while running which is always a plus, as i find when doing it myself each time i go for the sprint, it gradually gets slower haha. Always make sure you have a slight incline on your treadmill aswell while running like 1%-1.5%, it removes over extention on your knees or somin, but have been told its a priority when running on treadmills. Running at incline or even walking is a well known way of burning body fat.
  6. Hey mate, dno about the army, but i do the Bleep test in the RAF. Id recommend Interval training. no matter how good or bad you are at cardio, this will work you 100% (obviously dependant on effort) Walk 40 seconds, Jog 20 seconds, Sprint 10. Is a good place to start and just tweek it as you go along, but if done properly it will shape you up for the 1.5 mile as thats inbetween a sprint and a jog (conveniantly). If that doesnt suit you, just do the mile and half round a track, and just try and better your time. As for pull-ups you do isnt it? just do that excersise as thats the most direct way to gain in that area without going into toning and strength building. The easier it gets, ust hang weights from your waist. Same with situps, just do situps. This is what id do anyway, hope this helps.
  7. Id love to do what your doing, its just time space and money really. i watch quite a few built threads. heres a video for a build for a Corvette build for formula drift, i thought it was quite cool.
  8. Ive had mine up for sale for close to 2 months now, and refuse to put it on ebay. so im keeping it now and going to finally get the remap from zedworld!...when its not sorned anymore anyway..leaving the pistonheads ad on until it runs out though :tt2:
  9. Deffo thinking about keeping the zed and remaping her.
  10. Thats pretty sweet to be fair.
  11. i had a 182 clio, they are bags of fun...but tt zed should be pulling away. NA zed should have a good go too.
  12. i get around 20mpg. But i dont drive it like a lunatic. Are you getting rid of your mr2 then? if so could you send me some details please as im interested, as its a very nice mr2. especially as i was going to trade my TT for an mr2. Email isxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sorry Hollings but registered users can not sell on this site so had to take away your email Gary Wilson
  13. Welcome mate, i was extremely close to getting red of my manual TT for an MR2 identical to that, as i want a bike aswell. the thought is still lingering. I dont think the MPG difference is that big at all between tt and n/a. but if your thinking about mpg and buying one of these mpg is definatly not a good point in any situation. Welcome anyway and good luck in your search for your fairlady :)
  14. Hello mate and welcome. where abouts in telford do you live? i probably will bump into you somwhere.
  15. argh im addicted! how trippy is this!
  16. Oh and while im showing what ive been up to ill give a little before and after with some 20mm Spacers i bought from Martin at MWtech designs. (probably should have straightened the wheels first :sweatdrop: ) Before After And a little one after a wash (Without wax) Apologies for picture quality, it doesnt do the colour any justice.
  17. Well, a month or 2 back i sent all my intterior up to scotland to Ady682 to flock it for me. Well here is the outcome! And just again, id like to thank Ady682 for the job he did for me :w00t:!! This is a close up of the Quality And a couple of the interior, excuse the dimple like dents in the door card, just where they were leaning on each other, but with some loving rubbing they look normal again!
  18. Thats a beautiful car mate. i felt a little pain myself reading that.
  19. Nothing essentially. 9psi is stock boost or 0.6 bar. From what i know 14psi (slightly under 1 bar) is around the max you want to go on these mods before you require better injectors. but there wouldnt be any problem at all, but as im sure you know all engines are prone to failure when asking more from it, its just when you provide more supporting mods, its less likely to happen. Taking care of it is a main factor, oil change, plug change etc. Take care of the Zed, and it takes care of you!
  20. Also interested in what the problem was. :phone:
  21. Because there is a small margin or error with the basic kit as there isnt a stronger platform to take the hit if anything should go wrong. What Leo is trying to say is, the better parts you put on your engine can take the larger power figures, and wont be putting your engine under unnecessary strain. With the basic kit, that unnecessary strain has a much higher chance of coming to bite you in the ass, hence is being expensive in the long run anyway as you'll be fixing it when it goes pop. To get the higher figures you would usually require a boost controller, to raise the boost as its the biggest form of basic power increase. Better Smic's is good way to go as it allows better cooling of the intake air.
