Insurance groups are slowly bringing in 1-50 insurance groups to give a much more varied scope for all the different types of car around now. But to the difference for me between uk and import is quite bad..... for a group 41 uk manual TT is £820 and for a group 46 Jap manual TT is £1580 This = i lose.

As the title says does anyone know where to get a set of Decent seat covers, as i would like to preserve me seats as best as i can so when i go to a show/meet or so on i and whip them out and they are still nice and shiney :D Hollings.

From what i know, when removing a Cat from a low CC engine it removes the backpressure as murmur said, but your BHP figure should still increase as your torque curve peaks earlier in the rev range thats what is effected, once the engine has gained the revs and the backpressure isnt required the gains are shown which is why the BHP is increase as the bhp curve is a lot later in the rev range than the torque curve. Well thats what i thought anyway :D im still going to decat mine! Hollings.

This is the glue i used! http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1263-heat-resistant-adhesive.aspx Make sure your in a ventilated area ofcourse if you use it, i nearly passed out! Hollings.

Its only material at the end of the day, i bought Black Leatherette and some trimming glue and did it all myself! doesnt take too long and you can do a panel or 2 a day! Just make sure you get good glue, i used spray glue in august and it lifted really badly so i had to do it all again! but now its solid and the hardest panel i found was the lower panels next to the rear seats!

Mine wouldnt get up the kerb to get into the shop let alone raiding it!

i have a toad alarm fob...but with only the 2 larger buttons activated. with the larger buttons facing away from you front left is lock and front right is unlock. Obviously there maybe an immobiliser timer so you have around 15 seconds after unlocking the car to start it otherwise you have to press the unlock button again to disable the immobiliser for a further 15 seconds.
