k&n 57i induction kit LK performance & styling center
a picture of the attatching side would be more beneficial. If it doesnt have any screw holes on the rear side, you may have a type where you are given a metal tube to which the filter is clamped onto then the intake hose is clamped onto that, as ebay pics aint too reliable...if thats the cause i would say that is the wrong one, as you require 4 screw holes to fix it to the MAF. If im wrong im sure someone with more knowledge will come along soon.

Opinions: '89 or smooth rear on SWB?
Would a mid level be out of the question? Similar to Marty's swb, i find them quite cool although you cant see much in your rear view mirror.

k&n 57i induction kit LK performance & styling center
for starters i took my bumper of to put my induction in as the airbox was coming far too close to the bumper... and to fit it, it 'should' have 4 screw holes on the back of the filter/housing to allow you to bolt the MAF to it, then refit the MAF to the intake hoses. but as mackam maz said...a picture is worth a thousand words.

Anyone use Halfords for MOT
haha, talking about halfords... i over heard a woman saying her husband wanted his tyres shiney, so the halfrauds bot went and fetched some gloss black paint! ....we handed her some autoglym foaming tyre dressing.

i got japspeeds also, with japspeed decats, and when giving it a bit of throttle they give like a growl/aggressive gurgle and i larve it! Also get some back firing from time to time also, which is always a head turner.

There was some recommended a while back and I bought some. Woolies matrim brush on glue, it's strong stuff and you will be high as a kite when using it unless your in a ventilated area ! I'll try and find a link

Is an auto TT slower than a manual?
I had an auto about 2 months ago and I got it converted and it's too much fun to pass up. The auto is fast but it dulls the feeling of it out, just my opinion anyway. Also as the autos have smaller turbos they spool up earlier but lack top end power compared to manual turbos.
