  1. Do it, I'd be very interested to see how it turned out. Especially if you have bits lying around.
  2. I've seen some pretty tastey car bagged or air suspension. The kind where attention to detail is everything. It's a lot more expensive but is impressive as you now can retain a decent amount of handling instead of the first kits that were either hard as a rock or all wallowy. Never seen a zed on them though.
  3. N/a doesn't have hicas. Also the final drive of the differential is different so you get a lot more acceleration at the cost of your top speed.
  4. You won't beat the finish if powder coating tbh! They look better than new
  5. Lol I did mean take them apart haha, otherwise yes they would be ruined. Kinda thought that was obvious, And with the wire wheels I can manage to do mine just dandy. Most of the work with these : http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?sbk=1&nav=SEARCH&itemId=181260956710 Corners with these: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?sbk=1&nav=SEARCH&itemId=360809447254 The last is more of a brush but who gives. And it works.
  6. Get a wirewheel attatchment while covering up the important parts. Pretty handy those wire wheels. Edit: although sandblasting and dipping would be the better option, with some nice powder coating. it's time and much more money then.
  7. pics! ...and congrats ofcourse ;)
  8. That is more desirable buddy as with the auto it just blows where the hell it wants. Whereas with that one you actually have control! So that is no bad thing.
  9. Hahaha these threads need to come back! my personal fav post from a link in manta's post... """If you make a crap post on this website, I am banning you. No questions, no 2nd chances - nothing. Moderators are getting sick of dumbar5e posts by Fast n Furious wannabies who seem to think they have Vin Diesel inside them. I want: A good level of English - none of this pathetic 'txt 5p33k' and no 'wide boy' stuff where your entire sentence is based on abbreviations, innit? I now have ZERO tolerance on abuse by new users. If you swear or bully another user, you're out. If you have nothing decent to post - DONT POST IT. Think about it, you're spending time writing a witty reply or a new thread. Does anyone care? Will they care? If not, don't bother. Use the search facility before you post. Incredibly, it's free for you school kids to use. So when asking about the top speed of a potential 1000bhp GTR your mate down the road is thinking of buying, chances are another school kid from your class has already asked this before. Post in the right forum. Don't go posting a technical engine query in General. Finally, don't be an a55hole. I'm happy to discuss these points with anyone, right before the bit where I ban you."""
  10. i looked at the title and though 'oh no whats happened'. Then i read the start of it and start coughing up my tea haha
  11. Looks sweet buddy, you will have to give an update on your comparison to the zeds and for a daily driver in a week or 2!
  12. Atleast your finding these problems and not tolerating them as it would be a spiral downward from there...
  13. My engine is there atm...if Keith hasn't claimed it anyway... Awesome guy, would recommend him. Lee that is! ...not keith
  14. I Got braided lines from bmc to caliper without any breaks. I picked it because I wanted to change how it was routed and it looks better. I've used the reusable fixings with the Ferrells. Also will be routed through the car.
  15. A family member had an oil change from kwikfit... Not good when you check it when you get home and have to buy some more oil to top it up with.... Then come next oil change need a new sump as the threads have disappeared. Good times, rate them highly.
  16. I've worked away for some years now too and it makes going home so much better. Spend time apart makes the heart grow fonder and all...although I'm trying to work near my home now so expecting the arguments haha
  17. I want to go deffo but unsure as to wether it will be feasible going in the zed, I think me and my buddy's were going to see the Le Mans 24 race there. But will be watching this space. ;)
  18. Yes you can have diff front and rear but either side should be the same.
  19. Well if you want to race your car , they are the prices you have to pay. At the end of the day the law is there and it isn't going to change anytime soon so if you take the risk it's on your head.
  20. I would love some 2 or 4 post ramps!!! I'd sleep on them after I've used them all day!!
  21. Oh shit this sucks!! I'd be sick if this had happened to my zed after it was sold :/
  22. Why couldn't someone from Telford buy this, I want to have a look at it!
  23. Congrats buddy you've gotten yourself a decent zed there!
  24. meh to the arguments. Just put up some pics to drown them out. before and after pics yeah? ;)
