  1. yeah only use i could find for that paper! I bet the majority of people who see that engine dont know what it is. :ninja:
  2. look sweet mate, what your rocker covers going to be?
  3. oh yeah and i sold my vg30dett late last year as i had a change of heart.... and got this... looks pretty clean eh.
  4. oh and i had a delivery of my rear wheels finally! My mother apparently signed for delivery of 3 wheels and argued that there should be 4 and said she counted 4....then sent me this picture.. Anyone hazard a guess as to how wide?? The dish isnt crazy as i wanted usable offsets. one of my my rears (without tires) with one of the fronts
  5. Little update :) Engine bay before.... Engine bay After not too bad for my first time spraying/smoothing/simplifying and engine bay.. some imperfections here and there but i aint going to lose sleep over it as filling and sanding was doing my nut in and my first intention was only to make it presentable which went out the window when i started smoothing stuff :hammer:
  6. where it sits already :sailor: be only used as an aid when standing or emergency as terry said. but its not a third, mine came with it removed, and i bet a few plums remove it with removing their aircon.
  7. holy sh!te! you must have 100% faith in the car and your skills to do that lol, hill climb is pretty impressive tbf.
  8. im also doing this buddy, as i am making some 'not standard' modifications to my engine area ;) so with the viscous fan ill be using this as an auxiliary on a switch + relay. As for the 3 wires i think the TT has dual speed and the n/a has single speed. both driven from relays from the ECCS so the service manual says...
  9. Who did you use to get these Tom? No matter the setting you can always change it:)
  10. This is impressive buddy and you can be expecting pms ;)
  11. No you wouldn't have to lock it, you would just have to have it aligned which you would have anyway with your camber arms.
  12. Mpg is quite similar between both the TT and N/a. but if your worried about mpg return your looking at the wrong car lol. From my own experience with a TT ....motorway journeys i could get 26mpg...and around town i got around 19mpg.
  13. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?174879-92-N-a-Manual-LWB http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?174877-91-TT-Auto-LWB another 2 zeds defiantly worth a look buddy, good luck in your search ...also its not whats a best 'all rounder' as thats your opinion as yours may vary to many other peoples opinion. so its best you decide what would best fit what you want from one of these cars. There is a fountain of knowledge on these cars here so more than enough to give you an educated decision.
  14. wiring specialties seem a good bet! im sure they will cater to yours needs.
  15. puts a little spin on your 'cans'
  16. This is my want for it.
  17. looking into it, going to get some and try it. ill post results....may not be for a while, as im getting it through a friend of a friend who's brothers uncle.....yeah.
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4J6uC22Hwo Check that out!
  19. have you already upgraded the front? as around 70% of braking force will be from the front brakes.... im upgrading mine with the evo 5-9 calipers and the evo X disks which are 350mm as mentioned in my build... my rears have stock disks with stock pads. If you really want to go down this route, why not move your front calipers to the rear with the stock disks, and get a fabricator to make you some relocation brackets. its what i was going to do but i didnt want to run a bias valve because of the risk of easily locking up the rear end.
  20. bigger in diameter ? as with changes in diameter you will more than likely have to space the caliper away from the uprights for larger rotors.
  21. if they are nice and rusty make sure you get a blow torch on them as tearing the heads of the bolts isnt a hard thing to do...plenty of heat! oh and if you going to messing with the ride height you will need adj camber arms as you have bought and will also need adjustable rear Toe (if you have a N/a rear end) if not your lockout bar or hicas rod ends will be able to be adjusted for the changes in Toe.
  22. looks sweet bud, and s/s ;) get it shiney and on the car!
  23. someone on here does have it, and im sure they said its usable in direct sunlight too...although it wouldnt be as easy to read as the stock gauges.
