TOP GEAR - The one wev'e been waiting for!
I think if the Z was in the hands of Clarkson round that first race track it would have been a different outcome and better viewing for us! Good to see it won by a long way with the accelerating to 60 then back to 0!

Does anyone have an original car sale invoice?
My last Z had the original 'TOKYO NISSAN' sticker on the back that had been lacquered over to preserve it, that was a nice touch :D

Just interested if anyone with a wad of service history in their Z, has the original sales invoice as a new car from all those years ago - just interested to see one and that mega price tag :)

Ebay..Anybody used these?
they are probably a good enough quality, but dont forget you'll probably need some sort of hard pipe arrangement to fit them to.

Written off car question
He hasn't been paid out yet, it only happened yesterday but his insurance company have told him they are collecting the car on monday it will then get assessed and he will receive a cheque through the post. He had declared everything on the insurance, but who's to say he didnt take it off before the crash?

Written off car question
My mate has crashed his car and its got loads of bits on it, the insurance company have said they will be collecting the car on monday and taking it away, never to be seen again. How does my mate stand with removing items that he's fitted, i.e bucket seats, stereo etc? His dad is telling him that he has to leave absolutely everything in it but surely thats not the case, can someone please help? And how would he go about buying the car back off the insurance? woul that be a possibility?

New car 'list price' question.
List price is generally considered as the amount for the car on its own. Extras such as tax etc would be additional. As Graham says though, OTR is the easiest way to understand the total amount, but dealers do list it differently.

A I V s can i do away with these ?
Very easy to do too, just make sure you sort the small pipes that lead to the exhausts out if yours still has them!

G t four
around 60k the rear suspension goes to shit apparently, and is around £900 to get fixed. can't remember exactly what the problem is but its worth looking into to avoid a big bill.

Manifold to turbo gaskets
could be AFM... but if your filter is wet then that would be a good start for a checkover. I had them gaskets go on my R32 GTR last year, nothing but excessive noise, wouldn't make it hesitate IMO.
