  1. I'd say you'll be looking around £2500 if the body work is in good condition for year. If it was a manual it would bump the price up a little.
  2. to what extent, i.e what symptoms are you having? As far as I know it would just be slightly noisier and as with any exhaust blow the performance would be down, especially that far up the system.
  3. awesome stuff  I need to go there :(
  4. You are absolutely correct. From the turbo elbows as you say you already have the front pipes with decats fitted. You need the H section which balances the gases (or so I was told) then back boxes coming out either side from there. :)
  5. I dont like being called a cheapskate - however if someone wants to swap a lambo for my zed i'd be more than willing to accept... :D
  6. With the right set up the handling can be ok - but the weight of the car doesnt help it.
  7. I think it suits the rest of the kit - and I'm suprised you haven't painted the roof bars black ;)
  8. thanks Dave!!
  9. my mate just told me it was on... is that it then? best look forward to top gear destroying one then :(
  10. lol ok, first dibs then ;)
  11. I'd be interested if you were selling the bits you are taking off ;)
  12. Looks cool mate - always been a fan of that car theres just 'something about it' :D
  13. awesome - thanks Jeff! I believe this is the fault I have with my new one, I'll have a look tomorrow!!! :D

Happy birthday for yesterday matey... I got my first Z when I was 21 when all my friends were driving around in astras and escorts
  15. Oh and swap the rear bumper off the import because I really hate the large plate recess in the UK one!!!! :x:
  16. I fitted a Z1 flywheel and paddle clutch to the silver one, so that will eventually come out, it also has a better exhaust system and decats that I can transfer over because the system on the red one is very 'refined' (quiet  ) I've got an apexi power intake (currently on the alfa :rofl ) and Greddy boost gauge to fit... I've also got some apex'i electrical goodies that will be fitted, boost controller, super air flow computer, RSM, etc. Some sort of suspension set up will need to be purchased ideally coilovers. Then deal with the paint side of things I think :)
  17. Quite sought-after wheels and about to be refurbished - but yeah I'll let you know if the others I want materialize.... ;)
  18. Some of you may remember this: It was a neglected Z I bought that hadn't seen the road for 6 years... well I've been beavering away at it for the past couple of months getting a new engine fitted etc. But anxious to be back behind the wheel of a powerful car I weighed it all up how much extra I'd have to spend getting this one on the road and made an executive decision. So yesterday, I set out on a 6 hour round trip across the country to pick up my new Z. I bought it from Nicodemus off the forum and what a spot on chap he was. So a little about the car: 1992 UK spec Twin Turbo manual... red.. totally standard with the exception of stainless cat-back quad exhausts. It now has my 17" work equip wheels swapped from my other car. Got a few bits and pieces to transfer and make one good car out of the 2 and eventually get rid of the silver one (I think  ) It was a very good price for a UK manual TT, but I need to sort the turbos out so will be keeping busy with it! I'm not a huge fan of the colour so it may get changed at a later date, but I feel the car has great potential and shall not be looking like this for long ;) its not as high as it looks, just that the suspension hadn't settled yet after being in the air :smash:
  19. Why put 3 pics from pretty much the same angle and no others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Going back about 10 years, I remember seeing an Audi A3 in 'Lax Power' magazine and the owner had a hideaway plate on that, it was a home-made job consisting of a granada window regualtor and motor! Ever since then I've wanted to do something similar, and started planning a month or so back, I think now I definately want to make it happen!
  21. I think as a group buy we'll get some good interest on here!
  22. It is quite funny translating some websites, guaranteed to make you laugh! :D
  23. welcome to the club... google is probably your friend for your Blitz queries :)
  24. I never knew you could get new cursors - I guess any car would look better than a big ugly arrow.
  25. That is awesome Dave - thanks a lot for the heads up I'll be making a purchase!
