  1. and dont forget to depress the clutch when coming upto junctions or you'll lunge into the bloke in front lol :nono:
  2. Can someone please tell me if these are the correct lower pipes for a twin turbo -basically my car came with a load of spares from a second (n/a) 300zx, and these were in the boot. The issue I have, is that the left hand one: will fit perfectly and the pcv pipe behind the timing cover fits onto the fitting half way down. But the second pipe: seems like its in all the wrong angles, and if it did fit then the two pipe fittings would be on the underside  Do I need a different pipe or am I doing something wrong?? :x:
  3. See how Si never mentioned that he didnt like the bonnet?
  4. Unless its been converted (I doubt it very much) then it will still be running on the R12 gas, which is now illegal. A/C systems now run on R134a gas which most car garages can regas as long as they have the equipment. I'm not sure how you go about converting to the latter, but I know several garages round here that 'cant do R12 regas' if you get me ;)
  5.   look what you lot did!
  6. I'm sure blueprint do a track rod end for around £20 for the 300zx.
  7. The 6.1 litre Jeep is a Grand Cherokee not a cherokee
  8. very nice indeed :D sits perfect!
  9. That should do the job.. but HELLFRAUDS.... :nono:
  10. Best of luck Dave... we're all with you! :)
  11. one of the few cars that gets away with having yellow bits :D very nice, and very jealous!!! :D
  12. Thats been on ebay for ages... certainly got plenty of spec even if it doesnt look that nice. Few electrical gadgets in there too, would be a good one to break for spares.
  13. Or to persuade the MOT tester to make the right decision LOL
  14. I work in an office with a roof level window a metre wide and THATS IT.... but roll on next month training to be an electrician and cant wait - finally I'll have a job what gets me out and about rather than same office every day!
  15. which garage is MOTing it for you? or is it a secret? ;)
  16. Well spotted Si! Yeah I remember the plate from way back, I believe the first car it was on was a maroon 993 turbo as Ronnie says.
  17. Fingers crossed for ya Dave.... plaster the underside with undercoat lol
  18. well I say no engine... it had the block, one head, one turbo etc... but got a complete lump and dropped it straight in. The car has been off the road since '03 so a few bits have been taken off over the years but I'm determined to get it sorted and back on the road, very soon!
  19. Mine had no engine, but now it has an engine and most of the pipes and stuff but still a few more bits to get! cant wait though, I've had two before but I'll be just as excited this time round!
  20. I never realised it was that strict! V8 muscle car I guess then... ;)
  21. Went out for a meal the other day and a certain event triggered memories... yes the black pepper man lol... :p and some other funnies:- Chip Shop Yorkshire Airlines Pub Noise
  22. I've never been to the states but always wanted to, however my sister is moving there in a couple of years so thats my holidays sorted from then on! :D So you getting a Z over there I hope Bri?
  23. withdrawal symptoms.... I know all about them lol :(
  24. I'm guessing Si has 'tuner lugs' which are thin nuts designed to fit aftermarket wheels with small bolt holes. They are an allen key type fitment so you get an internal drive tool to remove them. Saves damaging the wheels too..
