  1. I took an R33 as a part-ex, but it was a 2.5 turbo, as a runaround they look ok and have the skyline appeal to everyone else, but like you say are slow... I'd have one again over a vectra with the same engine but people expect them to fly not crawl lol.
  2. I loved the black one, wish I never sold it! Now belongs to Z32 (who crashed it lol) :hyper:
  3. I found myself randomly going through my old photobucket account earlier and found some Z pics I've taken over the years so thought I'd bombard you with them  first of all - the ultimate cloud formation:
  4. It all starts to fit together now... the person who owned Tizer's blue one before sent me the pics of the red one :)
  5. cheers matey... had it for a year but then had to sell up to sort my finances out lol... it now lives in sweden destroying the streets over there! :nana2:
  6. Denim ones? bet they suit ya.
  7. I bought a heap which I'm doing up lol... but I can't wait to drive one again!still the best fun car i've owned, and i've had lots of fast cars lol.
  8. I'm sure I've seen the reg somewhere on the forum - it was one I was going to buy a few years back and just found some pics on my photobucket account lol
  9. I'm struggling with a few pipes on the engine that I'm building up, basically the car came in bits and so far we have then engine in, but theres a few pipes I just need identifying if someone could please help? :o First of all theres a rubber hose which comes out off either side behind the timing cover (red arrow): also on the second picture, there are two small hoses (green and blue arrows) that go into a metal tube each, on a single bracket which bolts to the side of the head. At the back of the engine they appear to go to EGR solenoid, or that area? But where do they go to at the front? Finally, I seem to be missing the fuel pipework from the back of the engine, I have looked at other pictures of engines and they seem to have metal pipes as well as the 'dotted' pipes which go to the filter, are these something I need? thanks in advance, any help would be most appreciated! :)
  10. nice pics guys, heres some of my car ones from last year: and some random ones:
  11. aerials on Zs are prone to packing up, so chances are its knackered... as for the plug near the centre console - mine has one too which it doesn't use, it plugs onto the auto selector but both mine and yours have had a manual conversion.
  12. ...until you want to take the roof off
  13. I was sat inthe pub minding my own business when my friends shouted "Z" !! so I got up to see a black Z LWB, fairly standard looking but low drive past. Anyone on here?
  14. bet the neighbours loved the noise lol :D
  15. sorry to hear it mate... but you no doubt have the zed bug which will keep biting until you buy another :D
  16. Thats certainly a damn fine talent you have there... I keep meaning to draw a Z pic but its finding the time to sit down and concentrate I struggle with :(
  17. I wondered who snapped them up ;) Yeah but as Maz says they should be a straight swap for the standard intercoolers.
  18. Well that was 5 enjoyable minutes of my life reading that! :D
  19. its worth getting the gasket which fits behind the seal retainer aswell. dealers can get them easy enough.
  20. Back again lol :hyper:
  21. It certainly wouldn't look out of place, import ones say fairlady and 300zx on the rear so only the most picky fans would notice.
  22. Didn't even notice :wack: they were just chucked on to start with, they come off after that as the engine went in then put back on, so they are right now lol  like I said I'm no mechanic :nono:
  23. Wow, some proper nice metal there! :D
  24. thanks for all the support for rebuilding as opposed to ripping it apart for spares! Me and my mate have been doing all the work on my driveway, neither of us are mechanics but have a basic knowledge of cars which goes a long way... its not too tricky :D
