  1. I owned an R32 GTR and a 300zx twin turbo last year... The GTR went better but was a higher BHP, but when it come to handling I MUCH preferred the Z (it had Tein Super Street coilovers on). It stuck to the road like glue and I've never had a car that feels so stable. The GTR has the added benefit of 4wd when the rear wheels lose grip as it sends power to the front wheels (normally runs RWD) but I still felt more confident in the Z cornering at higher speeds. Don't expect to chuck a standard Z into a corner at a million miles an hour and come out the other side but with a decent suspension/tyre combo it could easily be up there with the best (taking into consideration weight and size) HTH :nana2:
  2. Don't rev your car whilst sat in traffic
  3. Have they worked at all since you had the swap done?
  4. Wow what a difference! Love the arty-farty last shot :D
  5. and thanks to Radron for supplying the nice shiny turbo elbows
  6. After owning a couple of 300zx TTs before I recently purchased my 3rd as a bit of an ongoing project. Its an import twin turbo manual, but after neglect from a couple of former keepers it has been off the road since 2003/2004!! As I bought the car: a few hours after: and then today, finally :smash: not a bad days work... engine now in, all mounts/supports in place, 90% of connectors on and just a few pipes left. Getting there, slowly but surely! Once the engine is running I will be concentrating on the exterior, colour change, new wheels, suspension and lots of other goodies :D It will rise from the dead, would hate to see it go to waste :p
  7. The one with GS300 rear lights looks strangely cool :s
  8. Its so unfair I want some lol :(
  9. there was a spoiler similar to that on ebay about a week ago 'genuine abflug spoiler' but I didn't see how much it went for, not sure if it was the same design as that or one that sat up off the bootlid - anyone else see it?
  10. leave the spoiler off, it would look great smooth. then sell the spoiler to me please :)
  11. VERY nice.... will be after some myself very soon... :D
  12. seconded... that looks awesome :bow:
  13. :headvswal lol I'd be very suprised if a company spent all that time designing a wheel and then not putting their name on it, come on matt it only takes 5 mins to take off a wheel and refit :nana2:
  14. have you taken a wheel off and looked for markings yet? :)
  15. How cheap is 'cheap'? If you do break it then please dibs on the dump valves :D
  16. My mate has a red MR2 with white wheels... does look really good. Certainly does depend on the car really, but with the right wheel choice you could be onto a winner. Its your car after all so if you think it looks good then go for it ;)
  17. That IMSA one is shocking :(
  18. Glad I went that route now and got silverbullets off him :)
  19. I'm on XRtwo.com, I really need to dig it out the garage and get some use out of it, but at the moment there's a VG30DETT & box behind it so for now it ain't moving LOL :(
  20. Looks sweet matey... I've got a friend who has them Ultralites on his 200sx, it never comes out in anything other than sunny weather but the wheels are corroding quite badly! Don't know whether he just has a bad set, but they are awesome looking wheels.
  21. Nice cars, looks far too familiar though lol :D I've got a mk1 fiesta with a 1700 burton engine in, but it doesn't get a look in because I'm always working on the Z! I really should sell it for more Z goodies :p
  22. Looking forward to seeing it rise from the dead again, same soul, different body :D You've had a busy few days by the looks of it :)
  23. They are nice looking wheels - I had some on my Skyline R33 that I sold to someone in Belgium literally 2 months ago. On mine though, the lip part wasn't lacquered at all - which is good in some respects - but after a few harsh winter months the only way to bring them up again was with some wet and dry. So keep on top of them lol :p
  24. First time I saw that top picture I thought it looked awesome... good to see they are putting it to real life practice. Surely for someone with a bit of fibreglass experience/knowledge/time could whip something up like it reasonably easily? I'd be on the waiting list if it becomes available. :D
