Need a new battery!
Sounds familiar, thats the problem I had, after travelling 10 miles with the jump pack to pick it up :smash: The battery I got in the end was an 088, I've just checked and unfortunately it does not state the CCa or any other details on, but they should have a full listing and find it easy enough. Buying it from a factors is a lot cheaper than Halfrauds (as always), the one I got came with a 4 year warranty and cost £34 inc vat. :D

An updated newbie post!
Well I signed up for this site some time ago now, I've currently got a Pulsar GTi-R, but thats sold and is getting picked up tomorrow  Anyway I'm on the lookout for a Manual Twin Turbo Z, if anyone knows of any around at the mo, preferably with different coloured panels so everyone's happy  Joking apart, I'm off to look at Tizer's old Z next week (red one), from what I can tell its a good example. As soon as I'm the proud owner I shall subscribe to your wonderful site and go from there! :smash:

Seized Z on Flee bay ?
They may know exactly whats wrong with it. It doesn't take much to 'play the innocent party' in this sort of situation. I'm sure someone will get a bargain though! :D

Testing the water... swap anyone?
Thanks Pete :) I like my arty-farty pics. Komarme - should I not be allowed to post pictures? It worked ok, just added an image to the post. Its not like I've signed up just to sell my car... I haven't got a Z yet but am looking to buy one in March. Since I joined I have just stayed in the background getting as much information as possible, ready for when I purchase a car I've wanted since I was 10 years old. Please dont talk down to me as I am not yet as 'subscribed member.'

Testing the water... swap anyone?
Good afternoon all, Well I'm very close to getting a Z myself now, I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in a swap/ part-ex with my '91 Nissan Pulsar GTi-R, I would be looking for a manual ZXTT ideally with leather. If anyone would be interested sort of mid-march time then please let me know! I can post specs and pictures if required, I'm told it's running around 280bhp at the mo.

Lincs and Local counties 1st 2006 Meet...
Hi Jase Me and a few friends came down to the meet once before, I must admit we couldnt believe the turnout. It was great to see so many gorgeous Jap cars in Lincoln, and it would be good to see a fleet of 300zx's in the line-up. It is at a great location with plenty of parking and good food and drinks :duffer: I may even have my 300zx by then so I shall be attending :D

Stenson Bubble meeting
I had a bit of a gander at your cars yesterday, they looked fantastic! My car was the only GTi-R there. I must come and speak to you lot next time, by then I should be in my 300zx :D

stupid lambo-door kit!
I think the pictures of the Supra are deceptive. I'm sure I saw that blue one at a show earlier in the year and when you open them they actually point away from the car; i.e. if both the doors were open they would be kind of a V shape if that makes sense

Condensation in Headlights
Its common with a lot of imported cars. It might be worth getting some new rubber seals for the back of the lamp as they can start to fail after 15 years or so. Or take out the unit and use some clear silicon around the join where the lens meets the base as it may be getting in there.

Halfords rubbish number plates
I work for a garage and it is ok to have square plates front and rear. Motorcycle plates on cars are illegal although I have a small one on my GTi-R and havent been stopped ;) Let us know if you are struggling to find some I'm sure I can get you some made up in Jap size and post them onto you, they'll be about £20ish I should think.

FAO maxsunny
Do you still have them bits you need shifting? I'm off to Grimsby on saturday and could swoop by to pick them up, get them out of your way, I would hate to see them go to waste ;) (I'm obviously not worthy of PM's yet  )

Nismo Key Blanks
ah ha, thats the one :) Sounds like a random made up part code tho, WTF01 lol, I'll do some more digging I think before I decide to get one from the States.

Nismo Key Blanks
Doh, sorry guys, still in GTi-R mode

Nismo Key Blanks
Has anyone ever bought one? If so would you happen to have the Nissan part number because its apparently a genuine part. they appear on eBay every now and then but get snapped up straight away and go for silly money. When they first started to appear they were like buy-it-now for about £25, which makes me think they will be cheap from Nissan  Thanks ;)

5 different insurance prices...
I'm with Bell Direct on my pulsar, I've just turned 23 and my insurance is a grand, mine is an import Group 20, so its worth giving them a go :D

Hi, I'm a newbie
Oh yes I'll definately be attending the shows. I've always been with owners clubs, and its great getting to meet new people and see their cars and modifications. I'll be sad to see the Pulsar go, but I've been looking forward to a Z now for years and years and the time has come to actually do something about it :D

Hi, I'm a newbie
I was thinking about changing now, but then I thought I'll keep the Pulsar for the slippery winter months, its feels so sure-footed and its 4wd, rather than get my first RWD 300ish bhp monster out on the snow :D

Hi, I'm a newbie
Well I would like to keep with my tradition of black or dark grey cars, I like keeping things JDM style so black with black windows and polished rims would suit me down to the ground. Basically like my GTi-R -

Hi, I'm a newbie
Shit man, I'd struggle with a quarter of that!
