Hi there,

As above,i've got slight condensation inside the headlights?Anyone else had this?

I changed both dim dip bulbs about 3 weeks ago and just last week when we had heavy rain the inside of the headlight unit steams up slightly?

Anyone got any ideas how to stop this?

Many thanx

Try taking the circular rubber 'boot' that sits round the back of the headlight bulb (where the wire block connector joins) off.

Lets it breath and should get rid of condensation.

Its common with a lot of imported cars. It might be worth getting some new rubber seals for the back of the lamp as they can start to fail after 15 years or so. Or take out the unit and use some clear silicon around the join where the lens meets the base as it may be getting in there.

I left the boot off and it's been fine since (for over a year). See if your mists up again. If not - I might put mine back on too!

And what might that be then
