  2. Its definately aluminium, it wasn't until your post earlier that I realised you can get a cast iron version!
  3. Well unfortunately I have a DVD screen and a seperate player taking up both slots so quite limited with where I can put stuff :(
  4. I've got a spare bonnet kicking around.
  5. Thanks for the input guys, I was thinking making a custom panel and attaching this would be the best solution. Watch this space! :thumbup1:
  6. This isn't a 'do you like my centre console' thread. I know you wont, but its the best way I can get everything fitted in. :tt2: I'm after some ideas of how to mount these bits in the console - Can I use body filler to fill the old roller adjuster holes for the vents (obviously need painting up afterwards?) but then I'll have the gaps around the gauge and controller. Or should I get some carbon fibre sheet/perspex etc and cut perfect size holes in for them and attach this to the console? Just after some advice as I've never attacked something like this before LOL :scared: so thanks for any input.
  7. sorry to hear it kev, glad you're ok. And glad you got a new zed! mine was making a clicking noise from the front and I found all the nuts on one wheel to be slightly loose!
  8. gutted for ya mate :( if only you had a spare engine! Should really get mine checked before it goes back in, I'll have to ask around if anyone has a borescope round here.
  9. very nice James  I always thought that with an air/fuel gauge you needed a 5-wire o2 sensor?
  10. ah nevermind I prefer my intercooler air flow than keeping the engine cool
  11. there has been numerous threads about it before. I thought once the water had overflowed into the tank then it couldnt get it back?
  12. like the off roaders! was considering a suzuki when I get another later in the year - what are they like overall? I had a 4.0 grand cherokee on LPG over this winter just gone and got it done up for off roading, but fancy something different for this years fun!
  13. nah sack it off totally and just route the pipe to the bottom of the car somewhere... in its factory position in reduces air flow out the back of the intercooler thus affecting performance!
  14. thought you would :winkiss: just pm me your address as I'm too lazy to find it ;)
  15. Ok I'll send it out.. btw you cant keep it lol :nono:
  16. try that spare PTU you have there :whistling:
