  8. Yeah its got a video lead too so has a recording feature :thumbup1: I had a quick look and nothing seems wrong, definately no cracks or oil, but the batteries went dead so will have another look tomorrow and try and get some videos done!
  9. Dont know if you are aware of this website: http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/index.html not necessarily performance gain but theres loads of shite you can sack off as the Zs are overengineered from the factory. Have a search for weight loss threads too, can make a good improvement whilst costing nothing.
  10. I did exactly as you've done Dan, I hate the long rear plate on the back of a UK model, the import recess looks so much better. Looking forward to the pics of it fitted!
  11. bugger mate, I got rid of my bumper bar the other week when my shell went :(
  12. So going back to my post at the start of this thread... :tt2:
  13. Nice one Daz, you need to sell me something (or give me a freebie :tt2:) so I can justify to the mrs a day out in southport :thumbup1:
  14. My mate has borrowed a Snap-On visual inspection device from his work and left it with me for the weekend! I am checking the internal condition of my TT engine before it goes into my car, it had an intermittant misfire before so wanted to make sure nothing major was wrong. The back two spark plugs weren't very tight at all, and I need to compare the plugs to charts I've seen before to identify any wear. When using this borescope, what sort of things am I looking for? I also have this spare engine sat in the garage that is apparently 'forged' - what markings/writing do the standard pistons have on the top and what sort of thing would an uprated one have (manufacturers name I guess?) thanks for any help! :w00t:
  15. bantambunny on here was thinking of doing a diesel conversion after his V8 on is complete, but I dont know of any that exist at the mo.
  16. Yes I have a spare pair in the garage £25 delivered.
  17. thats awesome :thumbup1: I've driven one of the later Vipers like that with the 8.3 V10 and would love to have that and a Z shell! what a car THAT would be!
  18. Mine is a similar story to yours, its amazing what you can learn over the years and this forum is great knowing that if you mess up or get lost theres always someone that can guide you in the right direction within a few minutes in most cases.
