The stock intercooler piping flares out to the throttle body. More noticeable on aftermarket hard pipes. Dunno what the actual size is though.

Assumed cost benefit ratio versus similar priced modifications. Obviously all of the above would be great but if not I recon that ones one of the lower rewarding parts.

Maybe drop the throttle bodies, your going to want bigger injectors and a custom tune to get the best out of things. Have you considered how you will approach this? Nistune? A true stand alone? Silly question but is the engine serviced and in good condition? No point throwing 1000s in bolt ons at an engine that needs a timing belt.

There's a fair bit of corrosion there bud. Have you ascertained wether it's engine oil or another fluid such as Power Steering fluid?

Pretty sure picture that. Need more information to even start to speculate.

What have you currently got? 1. Japspeed decays/divorced downnpipes. 2.? 3.? I'd probably spend your money else where, like injectors or intercoolers. In an ideal world you'd want 3" turbo back, in the real world though you won't be using E85 which is what really jump the power up on these "breather cars".

I know, have a Google though. More than one person has died from exposure to it. It's bloody dangerous stuff. Air fed masks and extraction is apparently mandatory for use. http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/2k-safety-leason-learnt.14051/ Although the HSE.gov makes no mention of death it does state about asthma and dermatitis due to repeated exposure. Regardless filling your garage or the neighbourhood with its gas appears a bad idea. What safety procautions would you consider appropriate in your experience?

Should be able to, I've used a bit of leverage in the past to get that extra 1 or 2mm.

Get the bolt as far out as you can, them pull/push the tension rod bush about. The bolt will then clear the pipe and your home free. Yes it's a pain in the ass.

Got get enough together to warrant it that's all Richard. Not too far away now.

Highly topical for me this too. I've got some imperfections that need correction and one of them is the direct result of cellulose going wrong. I haven't found a decent solution at present, I'm not going to lie the whole 2k thing sounds horrendous. Stories of death and wiping the garden of plants, doesn't sound appealing.
