they wont be chromed theyre probally polished buddy. chroming will cost a fortune. other than that any chrome shop will be able to do it just google places near you.

that will be it then if the 12v vg is anything like the 24v vg in ours then you will need to jack the front end up to bleed the air out the system otherwise you will get hotspots then boom. i would run the engine up and visually check over with the additive recommended then look at the dry floor for spotting. then trace it up. get some pics of the beast up i like to see z31s id hav eobne if i could have two toys

i would say listening to that zed its had some serious work done. im not really familar with the terminology youve used of open pipes. id assume yoyur on about straight throughs. you cant just have holes in your exhaust that will mak ethe car drive shit and sound liek a box of farts. the way that zed is idling and the way it makes that characteristic chuging sound makes me think its had cams and stuff. the standard vg block is pretty well balanced and smooth which is why it doesnt chug away like a v8 mostly because it isnt. twin turbios also suffer if thats what you wanna call it to thsi effect because the turbo itself quieten downs the exhaust sound or at least muffles the sound. thats why nas xcan sound a little more meaty. basically i dont think your zed will sound lke that if its mostly a stock egine

i have to say i agree with vodjkashots. i mean you only brought that car 6 months ago? and in my opinion made it look much better and much better resale wise. it would be awful to sell it for even less now than you paid the asking price for this car a year ago was pretty high. i would sit on it store it someplace dry and clean, if it sitrs there foir two years so be it. your gonna loose mopney selling it regret selling it buy another and end up sending twice as much getting you back where you started. im not much older than you (25) and i know how annoying insurance can be, but honestly mine has come down loads since i was 23 its less than half, and im paying more for my insurance than i could because i want the ability to drive other vechiles. so it limits the compaqnies i can go with. even if youve gotta rent a garage for 50-100 a month it wouldnt be the end of the world and you get to keep it. it is just a car at the end of the day but i would hate if your like most people for you to do exactly what most of us do sell a car then regret it buy another and end up throwing thousands down the pan to end up exactly where you started.

as said mostly z32 owners here not many z31 so zclub is a btter bet or the us 300zxclub.com i would suspect from that you have an air lock or poor circulation withon the block.

i believe you nee dto change the mounting bracket, this will then pull the pulley in further and it will line up. or you can simply tak ethe tt pump apart and remove the fins from teh rear section and put some blanks into the outlet as this would have fed your hicas. easy peasey. hardest bit is getting the damn pump back in the bracket. theres an exploded view in the service manual if your unsure what im talking about.

put some pics up and look at the chassis plate it quite simple to tell your date of manufacture. if your worried about cut and shut then start checking over the internal pannels. i doubt it is though more than likly the dvla or importer have cacked up many ember have zeds listed as nissan gt or nissan pimera.

Recieved some part worns I got off ebay, one of them though doesnt look road legal to me theres A 10MM deep gouge in the side wall and what looks like a burn mark about half the size of a penny on the tred. What should I do?

yeah i did my roof aswel. its awesome stuff you do however need warmth.

or do what i did dave and vynal over them and the roof moulds too.
