  10. fortunatly now ive turned 25 the zed is much much cheaper, but i was paying 2k a year for a 1.6 suzuki when i first passed absolute madness! and im still being quoted 500 odd quid for a 1.1 fiesta sdp only with 4 years no claims.
  11. i may cause a drop for 6 months butr nothing long lasting or worth its weight. same as all this black box and camera buisness within afew years they will be the normal prices much the same as tehy are now and those without will pay a premium for not having it rather than those who having making a saving. sorry to be a cinic but car insurance esp for the young is a simple riff off, use it you wont get it again and dont have it you will not get it again so your forced to pay out huge sums for a car tahts worth squat only to be legal, and then if something happens you still end up pulling moneyu out your pocket from massive excesses etc
  12. Whats up with then? Other than it has hicas lol
  13. bolting bigger tubs on a 20 year old block is probally going to prove false ecconomy. so you would ideally be looking at a rebuild before pushing through the 450 barrier etc. you may well get a good gain with biogger injectors and intercoolers allowing you to run higher boost safely without risk of det. however you are going to be running damn close to the usefull part of the turbo, ie it will be running outta puff. you could hit 400 on bigger injectotrs etc 370 odd would be the limit without doing further upgrades to the supporting system.
  14. we should have a little met this bankholiday weekend bud get a few of us together. even better to decide whats normal.
  15. A few have been over 170 autobahn etc, have a look into the jun z it holds a class landspeed record well over 200mph

  19. Could the stock z32 front calipers be used as rears?
  20. the front calipers shouldnt need a spacer.
  21. thats a lovely chart but what does that actually mean in real life.
  22. just ordering mine now, so pop the new on eon the freezer over night, then jack the car up remove tyhe wheel and toe arm, then heat the sucker out , then what? then once its out keep the arm warm and pop the frozen new one straight in. that right?
  23. Its got fuel in it?
  24. alot of vauxhals have maf issues, simply unplugging it and resetting the ecu, will often point it out at fault. is it an early one? i know the early ones had an issue with diesel being sucked up via capiliary action into the ecu. causing them to drive like a bag of crap, until they die on you. both of my mates that had them had this happen and its why i didnt buy one, amogst other personal reasons.
  25. air con is dead rich, just blows hot air at you no matter what settings you input. it also does this on econ. i think the motorised valve that closes down to control the water tempreture has had it, however its behin dthe dash and i cant be arsed to go fishing for it just right now.
