  2. It was actually really easy. Remove the console and supporting plate. Then a ring spanner wil slide over ye bolt easuy as you can lift the assembly then rachet the other side took about 10 minutes.
  3. Cheers mark thought that would be the case just didnt wanna waste my time finding out.its not do able that way.
  4. Yeah I saw the angle popped it up and assumed it was right but feeling it it justs throws too far forward
  5. Can it be done topside or does it require jacking it up again etc
  6. Ie does it have a set way round I have a feeling mines 180 degrees out.

  10. this looks a better buy on the face of it. although youd hav eto have a good look over it first. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4047939.htm
  11. dont know it. its had some cash spent on it the seats have been retrimed a nice thing to have, but it is an auto non turbo whicgh isnt cool. non turbo manuals are greta little cars but as an auto it jut ruins the reason why an na is fun. anyways. there is also soem trim missing in the boot for the abs bits, to fit a sub and amp and the spoiler has been satin blacked rather than actually colour coded, i assume for laziness or cost implications. rings alarum bells of previous chav ownership to me. hold out for something better i say. i wouldnt pay 2k for that.
  12. It could be dry connections behind the dash. Mines does it from time to time the stops for a year then does it again. Does ig do it at low speed then kick in at higher speeds
  13. er i dunno lol ive had to swap phones since i saw you last. pm it to me and il check. all else fails il see you at simply japanese in any event.
  14. yeh i went through robos 300zx page and read through the full vac routing. worked out the prv senario was tempted to delete it but left it. my egr and aiv where one behind the other for some reason so that was the source of most of the confusion. im now confident that the egr is still routed correctly and the aiv fully deleted. and the car seem to run fine.
  15. cheers rob i cant progress forward properly without it as my car will prob have vac leaks.
  16. wasnt this the mistake phil made and had no servo assisted braking? - - - Updated - - - cheers ian thats exactly what i need, i think there will be a one way valve with the pipework i got with the conversion.
  17. i need some serious help on this guys, ive got half way through it and im sure ive actually removed the egr solenoid by accident. i also dont understand and cant seem to find the answer to what to do with the two connection to the plenum on the passenger side?
  18. as some of you know ive been converting to manual this week, got the clutch bled today but id like to know what my options are in regaurds to using the servo. i hear you can t into the brake vaccum line?also how do i adjust the clutch pedal?
  19. il be travelling in from ringwood im more than happy to meet anyone that wants to in the main ringwood carpark, just off the a31 which is directly on the end of the m27.
  20. Again not my personal taste, keep thinking of those lambo light kits the zed centre does. But I havd to say yours looks more integrated more finishdd, and no yh like a billy bolt on. I must r ws commend you get the black bit on the spoiler underside as it will soften up the harsh line of the boot lid and tie the rear end together so much more neatly.
  21. I would colour code it the tash looks wrong imo, onlly very few zeds get away with a tash.
  22. Im at work and need one or two got the lengths just cant remember if thier m8 or m10?
  23. looks tidier than my engine bay atm.
