  1. yeh i went through robos 300zx page and read through the full vac routing. worked out the prv senario was tempted to delete it but left it. my egr and aiv where one behind the other for some reason so that was the source of most of the confusion. im now confident that the egr is still routed correctly and the aiv fully deleted. and the car seem to run fine.
  2. cheers rob i cant progress forward properly without it as my car will prob have vac leaks.
  3. wasnt this the mistake phil made and had no servo assisted braking? - - - Updated - - - cheers ian thats exactly what i need, i think there will be a one way valve with the pipework i got with the conversion.
  4. i need some serious help on this guys, ive got half way through it and im sure ive actually removed the egr solenoid by accident. i also dont understand and cant seem to find the answer to what to do with the two connection to the plenum on the passenger side?
  5. as some of you know ive been converting to manual this week, got the clutch bled today but id like to know what my options are in regaurds to using the servo. i hear you can t into the brake vaccum line?also how do i adjust the clutch pedal?
  6. il be travelling in from ringwood im more than happy to meet anyone that wants to in the main ringwood carpark, just off the a31 which is directly on the end of the m27.
  7. Again not my personal taste, keep thinking of those lambo light kits the zed centre does. But I havd to say yours looks more integrated more finishdd, and no yh like a billy bolt on. I must r ws commend you get the black bit on the spoiler underside as it will soften up the harsh line of the boot lid and tie the rear end together so much more neatly.
  8. I would colour code it the tash looks wrong imo, onlly very few zeds get away with a tash.
  9. Im at work and need one or two got the lengths just cant remember if thier m8 or m10?
  10. looks tidier than my engine bay atm.
  11. awesome ive been doing it for about 3 hours each night after work most nights this week and im nearly there just niggles, and motivation dropping off lol.
  12. re: the starter relay department. im understanding that i pop the wheel well liner off the drivers side and the relay is there, the two wire of the correct colours are simply cut out and spliced together shorting out the relay? and enabling you to start the car in any gear you wish.
  13. that just confused me further i dunno what the hell is going on with all these vac pipes.
  14. Done the drivers side i believe, i disconnected it all and hooked the boost sensor to the balance bar, where the aiv was connected. the passenger side is confusing me slightly though. i assume the little sensor there is the aiv as it goes into the wing. just dunno what to do to the connections. the only guides ive found are us ones so things are in diffrent places which my brain cant handle right now lol.
  15. all sorted now cheers guys. next hurdle will soon arrive im sure.
  16. cheers bazzer all sorted now, found a local source lol :)
  17. As above cars in bits half way through conversion. and there missing! Cant go any further forward and I need the job done sooner than later. Please help.
  18. Any tips on installation of the clutch pedal pulling my hair out here.
  19. Fairly sure thats owned by a member
  20. welcome, you will notice a big difference from the mx5 different beast altogether. if you find one within dorset let me know il more than happily pop along at poke it about. had you decided on a set model or colour etc? later models have a few extra desirable bits and less issues. japanese imports are often cleaner ie less rust but if its been in the country a fair while a negligible thing, some insurance companies will charge more as im sure your aware. good luck, dont rush finding one.
  21. i was on holiday when this came up but i replaced all my high pressure lines on mine last summer. so coulda done that for you pretty quick.
  22. Cant rember which line the pcv vents into but thoertically it could be spitting oilout the bov.
  23. Bushes are 80 each, most lock out bars utilize them so removal willstill require replacing them and the arms if faulty. The drift works kit is 200 but replaces the entire unit. Personally the feeling of the rear floating scares me as does the over correction on oversteer.
