  1. i changed the input and output shaft seals on the box and the main front gasket. its worth replacing the clutch fork piviot ball. and gear stick bushes.
  2. nothing fits, the spoiler looks plonked on the front bumper is trying the fall off. not ideal.
  3. dont be scared of investigating it be scared of ignoring it and it getting worse.

yeah it doesnt quite work its got better but not quite there.
  6. far as im aware the ngks where spefically designated and designed for the 300zx z32 so you wont find much better. some do use a cooler running varient if theyre running upped boost etc.
  7. no benifits unless your standard recircs are failing. there are disadvantages however.... but if you want them go for it. they are on my list. and its best to have 2. one per turbo.
  8. ive got a manual front half with a bear that seems ok. i cant guarntee anything as i never used it but i had a twists or attempt on the bearing and it felt firm, and rotated nice and smooth.
  9. ive got a little idea in my head that includes using bailey dv26s they might not be the first name that pop in your head for bovs but they have been a long standing favorite in the ford scene for years now. the fantastic thing about them is they are common as muck. prices for a brand new one range from 75 to 90 quid each. so not cheap cheap but far cheaper than hks or equalivent. the base is 25mm and they can be adjusted upto 60psi. looking about you can pick them up singly very cheaply. less than £30 each. my question is this aside from buying a matching pair of dv26s and bunging up the recirc line and fitting them to the correct line, what else would i need to do to fit them. would i need a fitting kit to get it in the tube or is the zed one 25mm anyway? would i need to adjust the settings of the spring load to make them work correctly? if so how do you achcieve this? i know i should be concentrating on fixing the current issues before adding more stuff but i wanna get this idea straight in my head so when i have solve dthe other issue, i can crack on. also it give sme something positive to focus on rather than the doom and gloom of an immenent turbo replacement.
  10. Which incidentaly was my locker number at school :/ random
  11. hopefully they will do it again next year.
  12. what was the overall turnout like? looks liek teheres a few local cars there from either djcc or swjcc most of them are memebers of both.
  13. well as above really need it for insurance.
  14. done the neutral switch today, and reset the idle. the car now idles between 7-900 with the idle control valve plugged in and 550 with it unplugged. ive not had a chance to drive it yet, but it certainly feels a bit better going up and down the drive. it sounds much more like a v6 now than a highly strung 4 pooper. and on idle there is minimul if any smoke. raising the revs .up at a standstill causes smoke to start billowing out though still and once idling it will eventually clear. i think i nee dto take it on a damn good run before i can say its def still smoking/
  15. ive got a full japspeed turbo back system the front pipes and the mid box where a right handfull to pull together. i ently jacked up the cat section with a trolley jack and winched it in with some m10s
  16. im not attending anymore due to mechanical issues as id already said. however i can confirm that im not far from the site presently and the sun is glorious have a good day!
  17. After a chat with vodz and ultimateray and hellraiser I feel more positive. Few things to go over yomorrow as im working then off to wales this avo. Then we shall see. But even if this requires me to pull the block and rebuild it im going to get this car back to hoew it was if not better.
  18. i gave you a shout earlier ian, your girlfriend? answered. anyways when you pull away from prolonged idle its alot of smoke. however if your out and about and boosting without coming to a full rest it seems minamul. even on full boost. the deposits where dry not wet, and where abouts should i check within the pcv system?
  19. small update, took off the intercooler hoses, the far left one ie drivers side. has black deposits the other 3 are literally eat your dinner clean. if this indicates anything in particular?
  20. Hurry up and make one for the 89 spec front dave. That looks very nice good quality photos too.
  21. Does anyone have some turbo elbows they want to donate to meso I ca n refit my cats and see if the smoke stops?
  22. Custom its an import by the looks of it probally early 90s those mught be series 4 door cards but the seats are daf custom. Nice looking car on the face of it. Id wanna know where 400bhp cames from though.
