yeh i know what you mean thats why im opening up the slots they seem ingratiating to my mind. the 99spec front has larger holes which is gonna help, as do most aftermarkets.

strange when someone of such a large public stature passes. niel armstrong has always been a huge name in my life obviously he was super famous before i was even born, so im grown up with him being kinda a historical figure. you just forget these people are still human. righto chaps warmed the car up today, pulled the plugs and did a compression test. testing the drivers side bank first followed by the passenger side. results were as follows. 1. 170psi 2.165psi 3.170psi 4.165psi 5.170psi 6.160psi as you can see the left bank is pretty good all at 170 and the right hand bank was slightly lower but still very uniform. i think the battery was starting to drop off a little on the second bank aswel. but yeah i think thats a fairly healthy twin turbo block. :)

That sounds very simular, smokes ittermitently on boost too , one time you get a big puff another very little. Its worse when rolling to and from traffic speeds ie 10mph etc, still pulls like feck though. And yeah I have a cross over section in my exhaust, hence both sides, if you block one off at idle it puffs out far worse than if they were both puffing. As you can see though at idle theres not much, until the revs rise and I assume push the crap out.

I cant see it happening it would make millions of vechiles illegal overnight. Bankrupt millions of buisnesses. Dent the economy significantly and be completly unpolicable. Technically how far do you go? Is a partern part modified or agtermarket? Its not exactly to manufactures spec. Even using different tyres its bs and will fall on its face.

not to mention the engone and transmission warming things up and drying things out. no car likes to be left stood.

pretty sure john dixon would be a good person to have that chat with he has a vh or vq cant remeber now engined zed. the ls1 is quite a popular swap and apex do v8 conversions with an ls1 on mostly 200sxs so that also may be a good place to start. there is even a zed forum called hybridz that discusses many different engine swaps.

yeah def smoke, it looks more white at idle. on boost its bluer and farrr less. and yeah it stinks of oil.
