  1. Just a fashion statement Im sure I read to start being eco. Friendly you would have to do about 500k miles aband ybe highly un eco friendly batteries die after 200k miles
  2. I know the blue one was the right colour but you were gonna havevto spray the thing anyway with all the kit you wanted on there. Plus you had the rot issue and the engine issues sadly in away this might be the best thing to have happened with it. I
  3. Give me a call on 07786310989
  4. Usually if its hose related it goes away when warm the opposite of what your describing. Do you get large black zotty desposits? Or black smoke on boost?i
  5. trouble is it looks like a beetle on roids, and everyone will think you have no taste. which if youve got one of them you obviously wont. theres loads of them round here, common as muck for a supercar.
  6. crack on then, my major problem was getting the darn thing off with the years of crap, and the fact the toe arm thread was fecked. i did the electricak tape trick but it definatly isnt quite aligned its ok but it defiantly pulls a little to one side more than before.
  7. yeah tahts the sorta figure i was thinking it would end up at, bloody good value for money.
  8. they allow a 296mm disc rather than a 280 odd that the z32 has as stock. not really worth it as said, the brembo ones off the r33/4 gtr are the next upgrade. popular other options include the z33/z34 calipers and discs(require redrilling of the mounting holes), brembo evo calipers with 350z discs(require a adapter) some have also used maserati calipers essentially anything bigger could be made to fit.
  9. Let me know how you get on and whatthose adaptor bits cost you as I want to do the same :)
  10. Xont see why not thats how you recieve them from bailey basically. Youve got two though right?
  11. Universal is def easier, I did it the proper way by removing the track rod end. What a faff!
  12. afblug, would complement that well. what you gonna do with the bomex lip baz?
  13. hrm last time i ordered stuff from the us, albiet 5 years ago now things were a little more favourable i guess. i didnt even get stung on the tax. and i did spent a fair bit lol luck of the draw unfortunatly. i occasionally import stuff from hong kong never had to pay duty from there. but getting back on topic guess the only way to test them is to try them get the pre and post charge temps vs stock.
  14. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_22&products_id=71 admittedly the exchange rate isnt the 2$ to the pound it was a while back its still only $600 so after tax etc your probally looking at around £400 japspeeds price is £350. pretty close in comaprision the greddy or stillebn pretty close price wise.
  15. also available through japspeed....... http://www.japspeed.co.uk/Nissan-300ZX/Nissan-300ZX/Nissan-300ZX-Z32-Twin-Turbo-Front-Mount-Intercooler-Kit/p-18-1-1112/
  16. hrm i gues stheres only one way to know really, however you can get uprated versions from z1 for about the same which are well praised.
  17. theres a 98 on here a purple one i cant remember the ladies name. i think its a 2+2 though. good luck finding that exact model as said its a bit of a hens tooth, the cars in general arnt exactly common.
  18. im no expert, there are those on here that will know far more on that subject however i would of thought if you have too much grip at the rear in comparison to the front you would get understeer. how much relivance that would have to your driving style i dont know.
  19. 265 i find is suitably large and grippy. without making life boring.
  20. yup and thats the reason lol
  21. yes mate il give you a text regarding what we were discussing the other day tomorrow. :)
  22. right took it for a whiz this evening, MUCH better. Runs much smoother however there is white/bluish smoke on the over run. and occasionally if prolonged idling like behind a red light a puff of white might come out. the first pull on boost chucked out loads of crap. but the more i boosted the less there was. i think a leakdown test may be in order. and il try to get some videos of whats going on on here over the next week to help with diagnosis.
  23. do you mean the tailgate tub giving a straight rear window? if so its often known as teh bath tub as it tends to fill with water not a good mod.
