  4. No worries bud, some good parts on it but the shell is pretty tired, would yake alot to get it up to show standards, theres prob what the chaps wanting in parts on it., engine idled smooth as no knocks or rattles but had a running issue on test, probably the tps or the ptu getting wet through the bonnet vent..
  5. glad you've seen sense and are ditching the front drive Honda fail.
  6. lol, well maybe. it is made of ******* and pig iron though lol
  7. lol nope, il have the engine though if its an 8 cyl one.
  8. right pulled the plugs this morning, the looked normal, slight yellow orange colour to the electrode, otherwise clean no heavy deposits etc. the gap was 1mm and they were ngk pfr6b-11 that's it no a b or c rating? so ive replaced them with pfr6b-11c which ive gapped to 0.8 as that most of the forum posts seem to recommend. I am however still on 9psi and a stock ecu, but ive got full freeflow exhaust full decat etc, and 360 degree tubs. its raining atm so I'm not going to test it till it drys up, as I don't fancy ending up in a hedge backwards, but after letting it warm up on the drive and reving it a little the engine feels chunkier, more solid, I can feel the engine rock slightly in its mounts which is new, and the rev needle goes through the celing post 4k, it actually sounds more solid aswel. Of corse those things could all be in my head.
  9. but it would be off a tt vods as the na doesn't use a vac booster and the na balance bar therefore doesn't have the nipple. ;)
  10. any more pics gary?
  11. Looks like tt manual balance bar and yeah front water pipes, same on both models.

  14. Im not subbed atm gimme a text on *********** if a mod can delete after dicky gets it please.
  15. Welcome, biggest piece of advice is buy the best one you can afford, im sure youve seen cheap £1000 examples, these ines arnt.usually the bargins they look, and can quickly eat there own value in parts alone. Buying one thats been well looked after with a strong history and recent servicing is going to be miles chraper in the long run. There arnt many places able to work on the z32 eithout making an expensive hash.of it. Zedworld and powerzed are about the only ones worth thier salt, and the only ones you will findrecommended on here. Fortunatly if you get a good one, dont mess with it too much and look after ityou will have a great car. Get researching, oh and welcome.
  16. ive got a stage 2 I think competition clutch, heavy as fook without the booster! but quite useable round town with the vac working. cant comment on its performance yet as ive only had it in a few hundred miles.
  17. plugs are here so il fit and test Saturday and come back to report. im fairly confident now that this is an issue with missfire due to ignition related sources, hopefully its just the plugs but im expanding my mind to coilpacks, connectors ptu cas connection. trouble is diagnosis wise im pretty well limited to the whole try and listen method.
  18. damn maybe I should of got the coppers, just changed them with the oil annually. nm ey, these plugs should see me through the next few seasons, and hopefully cure my misfire.
  19. I LOVE muscle! since I was about 15 ive always wanted a 77 trans am, my farther in law had a 78 up until about 2 years ago. used to start it up each sunday in the summer and drive a few miles, he sold it because he just wasn't using it enough. Real shame beautifull cars engines sound awesome, and theres a historic feel to it the way the leafs creak and sway, not the fastest or best handling thing in the world but yeah character, im only allowed/can afford one toy car atm and the zed is staying, lets hope I start earning some monies lol.
  20. the classic ford boys will spend the money...
