  3. Im not subbed atm gimme a text on *********** if a mod can delete after dicky gets it please.
  4. Welcome, biggest piece of advice is buy the best one you can afford, im sure youve seen cheap £1000 examples, these ines arnt.usually the bargins they look, and can quickly eat there own value in parts alone. Buying one thats been well looked after with a strong history and recent servicing is going to be miles chraper in the long run. There arnt many places able to work on the z32 eithout making an expensive hash.of it. Zedworld and powerzed are about the only ones worth thier salt, and the only ones you will findrecommended on here. Fortunatly if you get a good one, dont mess with it too much and look after ityou will have a great car. Get researching, oh and welcome.
  5. ive got a stage 2 I think competition clutch, heavy as fook without the booster! but quite useable round town with the vac working. cant comment on its performance yet as ive only had it in a few hundred miles.
  6. plugs are here so il fit and test Saturday and come back to report. im fairly confident now that this is an issue with missfire due to ignition related sources, hopefully its just the plugs but im expanding my mind to coilpacks, connectors ptu cas connection. trouble is diagnosis wise im pretty well limited to the whole try and listen method.
  7. damn maybe I should of got the coppers, just changed them with the oil annually. nm ey, these plugs should see me through the next few seasons, and hopefully cure my misfire.
  8. I LOVE muscle! since I was about 15 ive always wanted a 77 trans am, my farther in law had a 78 up until about 2 years ago. used to start it up each sunday in the summer and drive a few miles, he sold it because he just wasn't using it enough. Real shame beautifull cars engines sound awesome, and theres a historic feel to it the way the leafs creak and sway, not the fastest or best handling thing in the world but yeah character, im only allowed/can afford one toy car atm and the zed is staying, lets hope I start earning some monies lol.
  9. the classic ford boys will spend the money...
  10. Looks like id need a 45~50mm to get it looking right... Ouch. And then id need to roll my arches
  11. jack the front up as high as high as possible set the heater on max, and slowly top up the rad as it drains away burping out the fluid with the vent on the left and the rad cap open. or you can do the other method (that I haven't tried, but have been told by a very reliable source) to get a rag and some compressed air to push the fluid round the system via the rad cap then top up.
  12. As above, dont think it will fit.
  13. Thanks bigH spotted them, again though not in the uk.
  14. get yourself some 12" long nose pliers, makes life easier and its getting the old hard brittle ones off that's the hard bit. the silicone ones pop on so much easier because they flex. even new rubber ones are better.
  15. yeah I generally get bits of mike because he's not only cheaper but he also doesn't try to sell me new wheels as well as single park plug.(you all know what I mean)
  16. I just cut the starter relay out completely and linked out the two relevant cables, there's plenty of threads on it and articles showing pictures of the bits you need to cut. its actually quite simple. :)
  17. Looks lovely on the outside, the inside is shite lol.
  18. now your selling the project any chance of revealing the source of those 345mm brembos?
  19. I did my two fronts I feel your pain.
  20. Oh yeah forgot that minor detail, and you cant just pretend either as they send the bloody rep round before they will issue to account don't they. grrr
  21. that does look cheaper but still if they were in the uk the postage would be no where near that, I dunno what nissans price is but zcentre charge....£10+vat plus his extortionate delivery charge.
  22. the above isn't a bad suggestion, why not try moving away from a shop premises and doing mostly mail-order and selling a few bits from your shed, cuts down on overheards and gives you more free time to do other projects.
