  1. disconnect the battery for half hour then plug back in, that will clear the codes, however as smithy said I think it sounds a little more than a fuel pump. could be maf or tps or a boost leak. years of sitting around could have seen rubbers going hard and poppin off splitting etc. and the wet weather recently is greta for fecking your maf.
  2. I obviously didn't do my passenger side turbo oil feed line up quite tight enough, it doesn't drip or anything, so its not that loose however there is a permanent bead of oil rond the fitting which eventually runs round it to the underside, It never makes it to the point of dripping as it evaporates off before it gets there. Anyways ive got pretty good access to it as my air cons deleted, with the battery out its not too bad to get to however one of the water lines is in the way, any tips to getting the thing nipped up again? special shaped spanners etc? or am I going to have to undo the water line?
  3. safety boost isn't that noticeable it merely limits the boost to 7psi.
  4. The age old conception is that with an intercooler that is more efficient than stock, you get more horsepower. How true is that? do you automatically get more horses, or does it just allow you to run higher levels of boost more densely and i.e safer? so not really a power gain more a safety gain? just wondering what the facts are, and in reality all the people you see running feck off fmic's are more show than go on a car on stock tubs etc. Obviously I understand, that at a certain point with bigger tubs etc , a larger intercooler is required to process an increased level of hotter air and lower that temperature to a safe level. However what I'm asking about here is stock or near stock cars.
  5. found it now cheers bud :)
  6. thankyou kindly :)
  7. ls1 is becoming more common by the day, check out hybridz just google it, theres a chap in the us with a single turbo vh45de

  10. do you still have the diagram for the evo brembo adapter brackets mate? and what size/type of disc did you run with them? cheers.
  11. yeah that's what ive always been led to believe a lwb auto was the highest priced model. ironically the priced have flipped the opposite way.
  12. made up name a believe, slicktops are simply the base model, its like buying a car and not opting for the sunroof. a na manual slick top is the so called poverty spec, just so turns out its the lightest and strongest shell.
  13. I agree with vods if it was working before you added them its probably something to do with the way they were fitted. The recircs may have nbeen letting by and now your producing better post pressure resulting in popping off a hose, or you've disturbed something which has poppd off. boost leak check buddy, thats the bets way to start.
  14. Just keep it then, prices always increase in summer.
  15. Are you not tempted to build something yourself rather than paying out for someone elses work?
  16. You should be able to tell if its an na box the starter will have been spaced out to house the flywheel. If its not dpaced its probably an na.
  17. Oh dont get him started on those bloody arches again.
  18. Its been discussed recently, nice car. Someone on here knows the owner I think he used to be a member.
  19. Diameter and force rating, the na is smaller both fly and disc.
  20. Best not to lol, something about cities makes me all itchey.
