  1. I've got a printout already kept the original, at least its a usefull thing to have. :)
  2. Mine will be heading there once ive sorted a few things. :)
  3. Il be on later, as im out the office today, but yes this is right il explain my thought process later.
  4. How depressing that sun is now that rare we photograph it haha
  5. Ok, so maybe I should be contacting them? Ive seen some great stuff coming from ashspec!. Obviously theres eithical points but are there parts any worse than say japspeed?
  6. What brands are missing over here that ud like to see guys?
  7. Well yes, that's why it was simply an example, of the interest and trader numbers other clubs have. Everything I've done so far has been as you say, " parts overseas that we cant get " hence the reason I got in touch with ams as they haven't got a uk foot hold and have got great parts. I must admit I have also contacted one Uk based company as they provide some parts that cannot be sourced here elsewhere, and they may well be a great addition to the forum. Its becoming increasingly difficult to keep on topic, as theres so much floating in the air, but I will endeavour to try and build better relations with us suppliers and increase active members. Sorry if I didn't explain myself very well.
  8. Its not that I want all of them, rather that its an example of what other clubs have available. However bringing in traders for things we dont currently have is a good step and as you know something im investigating. However you the committe will have the power if this can go ahead obviously.
  9. just look at all the traders the 200sx guys have! 10. cheers joel, its steve. :) yeah we have a real good tight knit crew in Bournemouth who are happy to crack on with the spanners and welcome any new member. Hopefully we can extend our mentality and ways throughout the club. it seems we have pockets of bloody good members, we just need to drag in the ones roaming the wild unaware of us.
  11. Your on the ball Anthony and the production of quality parts is the way forward, the scuttle panels are fab, ive seen them in real life. you've solved two problems with that and I really praise you for it.
  12. No your not these are two very important questions, how many are left in the Uk and how many of those are road or track worthy. How many of the actual amount are members of the owners club, far less than you think and far less than id like is the current answer. Why arn't these owners joining us? its in their and our interest for them to do so. There would be far more of them with tax and test if they had access to the help available on here. Something about how we are doing things isn't attracting these rouge individuals, or we are simply not known of for these people to find us. I know a quick google, but that isn't working a more public image is required.
  13. Yeah, getting business's within the uk to start making parts is going to be hard, and something that will happen later once the profile has been raised, that's a long term goal. It however may be a folly, the part availability from the us is fantastic, and the pricing better, maybe our relations with this are what need to be addressed so that we have better access to parts there. This is why I was keen to speak to companies like AMS they have the parts we need, we don't have them, easy answer lets get them, they will sell directly to the forum members. Their business model with the Aus forum is great and they do some awesome deals, the market is about the same size as ours but is far better catered for.
  14. Thankyou for your input, merely being an active member is a great way to help, and don't worry we will find a solution to part sourcing.
  15. now available through concetpua tuning, a uk based company that are gaining a really good reputation. They are on my hit list.
  16. Well I'm here to get that river moving a bit faster, lets call it flood season. If the committee want or needs anything of me id love to know, id really like to hear more members opinions and options.

Something along those lines lol, I need to attack the glossy's this week and get that ball moving anyways.
  18. Thankyou, what im worried about though is that it will fall on deaf ears.
  19. you know I was disappointed to, however it was a good day out, bloody good excuse to stretch the zeds legs, and good to see everyone.
  20. Oh and AMS have responded today very positively. :) I will keep you all posted.
  21. Now for the bit some of you are going to get touchy about and im sorry but is needs addressing now because its got beyond a joke. I mentioned it earlier and it was breezed over. REO's, now remember im not picking on anyone. I will now list the REO's as listed on the site and the last event they organised. south east yassa: 4/9/2011 in fairness to the guy, suggested meets weren't even replied to on a few occasions. Having said that he hasn't even logged on since October. south central BigH: 14/1/2012 how many turned up? several events and meets have happened since this in south central devon and cornwall: VACANT Avon Somerset and Glos:Murt Actaully stood down on the 12th of may 2012, it just hasn't been updated. Thames valley:ZX-TT red lyon meets have been occurring upto, Christmas last year, however zx-tt hasn't organised one since 31/10/2011 East Anglia:osty1 only took over on the 10th of march midlands:jeff and Jamie 22/5/11 looks like other meets have occurred, but reo appointed one that's the last day I could see publicly advertised in the section. north east and yorks: VACANT North west:turb0z & Quavey 21/08/2012 I will carry on and do the others but that's England, and theres a definite trend, were not talking the winter was rubbish were talking long term lack of meets. I do not blame the reo's if no one turns up your going to get disheartened. However this is a typical example of something we as a club are doing wrong, no sorting out meets and not turning up to the ones that are. As I've said this isn't personal I'm merely highlighting how bad this has become nationwide.
  22. Couldn't agree more, there are no real BOY racers on this site the average age is simply too high for that to be true, most of the ugliest cars are created by older people it seems these days. hella flush is what the kids are loving at present, not fast and the furious neon displays. Moving on to resale, and value there is no reason why the z32 should be worth less than the outlined above, other than popularity , many are scared of the z32 "often described as a ticking time bomb"(source banzai mag!) better awareness and shedding of this misconception is key and the club are the only people that can change this, you the membership. Recent involment in timeattack is really going to be pointing out that the zed is a potential monster, is actually a very capable handling car(for some reason people think they don't go round corners) which is why its key we grab hold of these things. I would love to see more z32 being used as drift cars, many say theyre not very good for this purpose but they have had tremendous success aboard for this use for along time. As for keeping cars stock, I cannot honestly say I have seen a single concourse z32 in real life, most full stock examples are that way because no ones done anything to them for 20 years, clean stock examples are abnormally rare! and the standards of stock vehicles is dire in comparison to the ford world. Seriously if you think your z is clean have a good long look at the concourse fords, you could literally eat your dinner off the engine bay! Lets try and move away from personal taste though, this is about strengthening our fan base and strengthening our supply base as well as getting more appropriate pricing, to protect the breed for the future.
  23. vocal modding fraternity? in honesty id say cars with body mods are now well in the minority, that fashion has been and gone, lairy body kits are a thing of the past and rightly so.

are you sure? or is it just in need oh some serious love? a vg that's not running right is an awful beast, but simple things can look and create dreadfull reactions.
