  11. I think a vac leak would likely cause lean running and therefore a lower idle, im no expert simply guessing here. However any entry or ecit of air will cause issues withe the mix and would be wise to check, before going forward else it may be conterproductive.
  12. concave bronze such as rota gtr etc look fab on a zed
  13. I pretty sure I fitted this exact kit, took all of about 5 minutes. I dropped the ballast down the side of the headlight.
  14. I'm not sure exactly on the cause, mines done the opposite, dropped down way low, need to sort that soon. Anyways its worth doing a boost vac leak check, for no other reason than these cars are super prone to it. Next step is to have a good look at the idle control valve located on the rear of the plenum, it may be that the connection has become better, it may be the connection has sited itself better, the top connection is the control, once the engine is up to full running temps, unhook it, it should bog down to around 650 rpm. if it does you need to start looking else where, maybe your tps is wrong... maybe the idle control valve is choked up with soot and crap... If it doesn't then the idle screw located on the end of the valve could need adjustment. Final question... your aircons off isn't it? this raises the base idle.
