  1. No one round here does, even if they say they do, what they mean is they have worked on a few skylines and "they are pretty much the same right??"
  2. im busy atm but your welcome to pop over and il have a gander
  3. Totally agree about front mounts esp the greddy style one just looks awful jammed in there. Z1's own intercoolers have a good rep in the states and are a damn good price, godspeed arnt quite as good but are better than stock, ashspec BA's are the big boys but theyre comparitily more expensive and i dunno if your current setup would warrent them, they also should e used with the 2.5" intake system pushing pric e up further. Have a quick serach around on http://www.300zxclub.com you will find plently of reveiws including proper tests with dyno charts all the rest.
  4. have you looked at the driftworks stuff probably cheaper than zcentre
  5. What a lovely day first one I've had chance with in an age only went out for about an hour but awesome!
  6. I just use a half inch ratchet and a long extension bar, job done. be carefull not to over do it when refitting, the heads are ali.
  7. go down to machine mart and get yourself a torx and allen bolt kit think its about £30 but it does a massive range and will mean you can do loads of little jobs so much easier and be able to torque them down properly with your torque wrench. here you are... http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cht144-40-pce-torxspline-bit-holder-s good bit of kit to have.
  8. Yes, tahst how my day has gone to, now off to walk to dog.
  9. been out already this morning straight after work, flying through empty dorset a and b roads at 8am serious, joy! the cars in top form at the moment, nothing quite like it is there.
  10. I don't think the japspeed will look right in that bumper, you want a pair of twin pipe back boxes.
  11. oh yeas my right foot is itching!
  12. yeah snap the pisser off... I think your snookered on this one mate.
  13. None of us go to djcc meets anymore, just so you know. Gaz is very knowledgeable and friendly, and also hes practically my neighbour haha, so im sure if you do pop over to his, if im free il pop over to be nosey and say hello.
  14. Dont forget years of crap and dust building up in the exhaust, try it and see.
  15. Youve sold a few z32's and always come back....i think spend some cash getting it mapped properly enjoy it and know your faster than that 370 anyways.
  16. Stephen replied to Noz's topic in Events - UK
You might get lucky and catch a few stragglers form our way at the end of your jounery.
  17. May be something silly, ike a boost leak and its only really causing issues on high boost.
  18. Yeah i remember seeing the series two ptu on it, however i also remember the state of teh way its been joined in bear cables etc....not good. If its had a hard life its possible to fail like anything esp if its spent time getting wet liek that one has. Can but try gaz is offering you the ability to try one sounds liek a good opertunity to me. When i went out in that car it was dying on the overrun, on throttle it was fine. May be working looking at vac leaks and the air idle control aswel as the tps, il be honest with you the chap said it was pretty quick but my stock car feels alot quicker, it didnt feel quite right, certainly not as quick or responsive as a z32 should be. - - - Updated - - - Side note keep your eyes open as there will be a local meet coming up VERY soon!
  19. Im currently in talks with AMS for them to be proposing to come onboard here, its early days and ultimately it rests in teh hands of the comitee. Keep up to date on the thread about parts here in the uk i started last week and you will get updated as we go along.
  20. also phil is selling his uk spec, the shell needs work but mechanically its extremely solid, maybe that could be an option for you.
  21. does sound classic ptu
