What the hell is with the parts market for the z32
I throughly agree with you all, and im fairld sure not to pick but with zcentre his parts come from the us, why not directly from japan? I think we need nissan themselves to emrace the car and be proud, become an offical club tied with them and embrace things like our 50 year anniversary of the z car, 40th there was a special 370 but no big z party.

What the hell is with the parts market for the z32
Its come to my attention over time thats parts for our cars are hard source and expensive. Availability of quality kit is poor from within the uk and oem parts are dropping off the availability list like flys. Being an entusiast club part of our responsibility is to ensure the marque is represented and preserved. A serious prerequiset to this is availability of parts. Most other cars have many pattern parts available, and aftermarket stuff, we simply dont. I do not wish to pick on anyone but compare our z part retailers to those in the us or oz, zcentre is tiny, its not even affilated with the owners club! Not to mrntion the price. Getting onto the twinz range, that cannot be sorted. It's a sad state that the 3rd? Biggest ownership worldwide cannot produce a sustainable and progress range of parts, that we have to make international orders to a country on the otherside of the world to get things of decent quality, and price. I applaud companies like sfs for making good parts for us, but I think its high time we started brain storming a better way that the current reliance on the us. So how do we move forward? How do we push the z32 out of this stagnent position of poor parts, high prices and poor availability. Theres enough.of us at the end of the day. How do we move the club away from the screen and into an owners club, are we the offical uk zxclub? Is there even one? I know this sounds like a rant but I want to still own my z in 20 years time Its high time the z comunity raised its profile.

twinz orders issue
Ok so not withstanding all that, you have no uk distributor. Thats bad for us and bad for you. The market is here but no distributor, what do you plan to do? I think there is no parts distributor within the uk that can hold the order levels youd want, this means no buisness can takr you on. So either address this or sell direct at retail price. Shipping stuff in from the europeon mainland or us just puts your product into too higher price bracket for most owners.

Side light issue
I used a set of crystals, a pair of side repeater pig tails and some led 501's relocated them into the indicator housing jobs a goodun, makes the car about a foot wider each side at night.

twinz orders issue
Yup, and tbh they are going about it the right way. If you want someone to copy your stuff make it hard to get hold of and bloody expensive... job done, congratulations for a crap business model.

water leak from rad
most likely yes if you've not bled the system out properly. it probably caught up round the heater matrix.

This is the 99 spec front fasica except the indicator housing are able to accept the stock 89 spec indicators. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_12&products_id=5996 I for one would be happier to fit that as it means I don't have to buy those damn expensive 99 spec side repeaters.

Falken 452's
falkens have had a good rep for years, if your scubbing the inner ende out on your fronts this is a common z32 problem, its not because the tracking is out, as you say even wen it set it still does it. the problem is usually the front tension arm, the bush wears at stand still the car is tracked right, but when your cornering the load shifts it out to the wrong angle causing excessive inner wear on the tyre.

Which arch flares are these?
Bumper lip is stillen, gtz? Have a look through on z1. Rear arches are simular to the ones baz had jun racing maybe, im sure he will be along to clarify
-
do NA's have a limp mode?
Its not listed because they were not available from nissan uk, only twin turbo lwb versions were. Its a good suggestion you got there from jaffa, and you can easy get them to check that at your work, take two seconds, make sure you check it in gear. Timing changes in neutral. Its probably not dett occurring its most likly a duff sensor or harness. If you do get a timing reduction, reset the ecu and try again with the code cleared.

Falken 452's

water leak from rad
just park it up on a flat dry surface and see where it drops down, failing rad caps are common, as are overfilled or cracked expansion bottles(results in water coming out near the passenger front wheel. the two little pipes that connect the heads to the top hard pipe on the block also fail. if its a twin turbo model the water cooling for the turbos happily split causing steam at the rear of the block. try to work out roughly where in the bay its coming from and if it occurs all the time the engines on, only when hot(pressurised) or just constantly.

Ftao noz
ahhhh ok, that makes more sense :)

Ftao noz
wow stock turbos 14psi and over 400 horses nice, why did you go for the 740's may I ask?

o2 sensors and downpipes auto and manual
I'm almost certain the answer to that is yes, the top of the elbow is the same the bottom is the same and the o2sensor is in the same location. il go and says yes.

Cambelt Kit
Replace as much as humanly possible, the engine is 20 years old now or more. Replace what you can when you can, otherwise you will be tearing things apart to get at things you saw 6 months ago but didn't change when it was easy. Ive got a oil tree gasket to change, I should of done it when the block was out it would have taken me 10 minutes, instead I chose not to, it leaks now im stuck lol.

Rear subframe bushes...
I assume you mean those doughnut shaped bits pressed into the floor pan at the rear, I dont use the chassis rail or sil to jack the car as ive learnt that lesson the hard way with previous cars.
