  1. Bit strong but il take it is jest, but genuine reason. Laziness lol since the format changed I haven t5 been bothered to go looking for the bit where I resubscribe lol. I sould really though makes life 8 million times easier.
  2. I've been spending time getting things on my car right, reliable and manual. After the usual service items ive refreshed all the water pipes round the back, deleted all the rubbish and all that sensible stuff. Then I've fitted an uprated rad, uprated oil cooler, the auto turbos have been rebuilt with 360 degree trust bearings and step gapped oil seals, divorced down pipes, 2.5" decats, 2.5" catback . The car recently produced 286bhp and 277ftlb @ 5.4k rpm. So here's the question... what's next? obviously a chip and boost increase, id like to see around 370/380 fwhp so what do I need to amass and do to get it to that point. Ultimately I would like around 450bhp but that is going to be bigger tubs and will have to wait for another 18 months, before those kind of funds will be available.
  3. Just delete it its next to useless unless you do loads of motorway miles in the night.
  4. Without being an knob, do you know how? To bleed it properly I mean?
  5. yeah could be an air lock, i know you've said you checked the connection, but theres two there and they are prone to causing this, mine you to go suddenly dead cold halfway round hard corner, i later realised that at high rpm the loom was moving an dit was lifting off slightly.
  6. You should'a said bud we did about 3 runs with malcoms freelander on various settings, so I assume if u'd asked they would likely of done it.
  7. powerstation, in glos.
  8. it may not of had an increase in actual power but it will spool up much sooner and be more responsive.
  9. could of swore I took more...whoops
  10. I did a 250 mile round trip and had my rolling roaded. :)
  11. will be floating in over the next few hours, ive published my result and pics already. - - - Updated - - - If you'd come on down you could have been on hand to get involved and you'd already know the numbers. :P
  12. continued: and because you always have to stop for fuel for you and the car,
  13. Awesome morning out, fair turn out so thanks dave for sorting this all. real range of cars there from stock through to near on 500 bhp. im also pleased to report our party manged the 250 mile round trip without and mishaps and both cars were awesome out on the open road. My car running stock 9psi with the usual bolt on's catback, decat, intake you know the basics. anyways I produced, 278.9bhp corrected power(whatever that means) 277.6ftlb and 285.6bhp engine power, @ 5405rpm/132.1mph. Im ok with that for auto turbos and a 20 uyera old stock block running stock map etc. The pictures I took are below, I did take photos of everyones dynos but I know the place sorted dave out with them via email which will be better so il leave that to him. the zeds...
  14. whats up with the panels you had fabbed? if theyre not upto scratch go back to them and get them to redo or adjust them. if that's not possible get the whole car trailered there to be welded on. it all depends what you want, do you want the factory shape or simpy a curved piece of plate welded into there to fill the void. It really shouldn't be a big job for a proper fabrication shop. Did you know that the roofs and panels of aston martins certainly up until recently where hand made from flat sheet on a jenni wheel? ive seen men make a bloody jug out of a flat piece of copper, making a curved peiece of metal the right shape and welding it in its rats piss for the right person.
  15. Us market tt's were all swb, in the us lwb was an na. So theres alot more swb tt's :)
  16. Well done lol, drag your ass up to powerstation tomorrow and chat some crap lol.
  17. Yeah no worries mate if its local enough and I'm free I can pop along with you if you want. That's two big ifs though hahaha
  18. odd as the neutral switch is located on the box itself as you know. I didn't bother with the clutch pedal switch as ive shorted out the relay completely during the conversion, I don think many people bother hooking up the switch.
  19. Oh right that makes life easier. Yeah I'll be rolling up pretty early :) reducing that damn queuing time.
  20. The clutch reservoir is located by the brake master cylinder, you simply look at it and see what the fluid level is. the switches, on the clutch there's one that disables the starter relay, this stops you starting the car in gear.. :) - - - Updated - - - or rather without the clutch down
  21. you booked into japfest again this year?
  22. It's so hard to value, your essentially saying here's a bag with something in it how much do you think its worth?.. so I guess its down to you to be able to think about the value yourself. However as said I certainly wouldn't want to part with more than a grand for a car with no clutch or exhaust. Unless it had something fresh under the bonnet that I could closely examine.
