  3. As above, spotted this. Ive had a few bits off it myself but hes now openly advertising it may be of some use to the ever growing amount of newbies in this area. heres the gumtree link http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/red-nissan-300zx-tt-parts/1013086393 iirc his name is joe, its a uk manual and theres loads of parts still on it.
  4. Sort the bonnet first it was causing electrical issues im pretty sure.
  5. Ha we can fix it once we know the problem, diagnosis is always the problem.
  6. Nope closest is powerzed in bristol. However me gaz and phil have done most things between us.
  7. That will be one of the two heater hoses then, probably waiting for nissan to get them in stock, as they are a whack shape, cheaper to buy silicone from sfs. Zeds must be bled properly.or it will soon cause issues.
  8. Hose to come in.... Where did it blow? Theres a whole na worth of parts here in bmth.
  9. I wouldnt trust local garges they know bog all about these cars, is the leak fixed?
  10. RAIN here lots of RAIN
  11. looking at it once your aircon is out, the passengerside looks a piece of piss and I recon knowing mine came off recently I could have it off in an hour.... the drivers side not so much... however being honest pulling the block is a much less head achey way to do things allows you to go ahead and fix all those stupid little water lines and things like knock sensors without breaking a sweat. it took us 12 hours to pull my block, that was first pull annoying bolts the lot, I recon I had to do it again I could have it on the floor within a few hours. if you do take it out, you can happily replace and check over things like turbo oil feed lines that might be missed and make you repeat the process almost instantly.
  12. I think.....think..... they are adaptable to run on 350 discs. some research would be required but yes they are massive, they may even need 345mm discs.
  13. If they wanna drop one or two over here, il have em in the chest freezer ready for venison burgers, steak and all sorts of joints :) oh we like a bit of game meat
  14. it could be something stupid like its got a boost leak and is overfueling on boost. so your getting a dark grey/ black dust coming out. does it pulse or anything when on boost? luike it feels like you hit the rev limiter but its not anywhere near it?
  15. lol ive even been under it.....
  16. Dangerous critters aint they, its probably dead though now. Happens here alot, problem with the countryside.
  17. As above more information required, if its broken it will soon tell you. a poorly running z32 its a poorly running car indeed. it could be something silly like as said years of "cobwebs" being blown out. It may also be oil or road grime burring off the turbos as they got hot for the first time in years. Honestly teh best thing to do with any z is spend soem serious time giving it a good service, change the oil andf filter check the ecu for codes top up any fluids, check these thing regualrly to see if they are depketing at a rate that is unusual. Failing that if your not mechanically inclined take a trip to zedworld, hire a low loader for about £50/100 for the day drive it up there needs be and get jeeff to give it a health check. i believe he charges about £35 for this service, at least then you will know what to expect.
  18. the viscous should come off from the rear quite easy with a quarter drive socket set, get the fan off first just to make life easier theres a few 10mm bolts that hold it on on the front face. the water pump and thermostat arnt too bad, certainly once the fans out the way and you've you've removed the front water pipes, the thermostat is behind the lower one. You need a pair of longnose pliers to undo the clips that hold the top one on, and certainly a set of attachments to use your socket for allen bolts. In advance get the top hat pieces that are behind the top water pipe (they rot out) and the two short pieces of pipe that the front pipe plugs into, they split, nows the time. have a chat with mjp and order your parts he will sort you out with all the right parts. IF you search, 300zx online manual in google you will find the service manual online, it will give you exploded views torque setting etc etc etc.
  19. http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=212601&highlight=godspeed+intercoolers interesting comparison between the ba z1 ones, godspeed and stock. and for you gaz, stock turbos and 16psi http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=212601&highlight=godspeed+intercoolers
