  1. That's because its a 1994 swb slicktop, the later the cars came they dropped a lot of the options, and luxuries to try and cut the cost that was increasing rapidly and hurting sales, also the swb was the base model in japan, ironically the lwb auto tt targa was the luxury model. Effectively the slicktop is like opting for the model without the sunroof if you like. Therefore with a late year, slicktop your unlikely to get all the toys. Ever noticed most of them are non turbo? As I say its ironic really as now adays due to the better handling platform, reduced weight and rarity the swb esp slicktops are extremely desirable and therefore more expensive. In my opinion if your looking for a zed with loads of toys your looking for the wrong car, sure they have cruise, but cruise is useless in the uk, the aircon on most doesn't work, its 20+ years old, and regassing isn't simple or cheap, you will get electric seats and windows, but they likely wont be heated. Something like a lexus is200 would have all these kind of toys, and be cheaper in many respects. This is just my opinion, and your welcome to ignore it, its only an opinion. However I see the z32 as a weekend warrior/ highway monster not a luxury cruiser these days, it however is a lovely car on to drive on the motorway, but infinitely better blasting down an A road over taking everything in its path :D
  2. That spoiler needs to go it makes the rear too high and makes it look stumpy, a lwb can pull that spoiler off but a swb needs something more subtle and low to try and keep proportion. Rare car in a desirable colour unless the shell is shot, its worth that money all day long, esp if it runs properly, hell it could sell for not much less than that without a block.
  3. Isn't it just an ability to charge better/faster? ideal if you've got whacking great rolling disco in your boot for example?
  4. Your going to have so much fun swinging that into your engine bay trying not to **** the screamer on the chassis rail lol, going to sound and go well though I recon.
  5. As above really, the cost of the hicas bushes from Nissan is about £80 that twice is £160 and the full elimation kit from driftworks is only £200 so its not surprising many delete it. Personally I don't like it, I don't like the way when I'm barrelling round a corner It make sit feel as if the car is about to slip out, it doesn't instill confidence in me driving fast, as its harder to judge where the limit of traction is, I also don't like the way that when the back end does go the hicas sort of corrects oversteer slightly this leads me to over correct the correction. Some of this is under experience by myself in driving my car fast, im much better at driving a car with leaf springs fast, as that what I learnt to drive like a hooligan in, so the zed can catch me out in how differently it drives. I haven't deleted my hicas yet, and I may not, I haven't decided yet(after 4 years) I think mayb ei need to have the track experience to see how I feel about hicas, as the z is too fast to push on a public road properly in any event.
  6. That sort of just came up at the right time, I've been doing a lot of reading recently, esp on the US forums. The gains they are getting from 3" exhaust systems and upgraded intercooler pipework even on stock turbo's is pretty impressive(but I don't need to tell you that you know better than I do), I'm looking at getting some gt525's and fully divorcing the waste gate, out to astrosphere like that to my mind would have the same gains as running a 3" system, Without having to source a new 3" system probably from the states at massive shipping rates because of the size bulk etc and without replacing the 2.5" system I've had for well not long.....the front pipes have been on there about 6 months lol.
  7. It would seem that to get the best out the vg block a 3" system is the better option. Now, if your waste gate vents to atmosphere, your not forcing the useless(in respect to producing boost) air down your exhaust system. This is obviously great, less air to be pushed through, less resistance etc etc, is this a correct thought process? If it is then realistically ifyou do vent to the wastegate directly, would you make the same gains on a 2.5" system as your pushing less air down the system, ie less requirement of the exhaust to process air, so a smaller exhaust can do the same job. Now is that legal? because your venting air without a silencer etc, does this still stay within the mot regs? And yeah I do think it sounds awesome lol.
  8. I know its not ideal but think that's the sensible way forward, zeds are expensive to run, the only cheap way to own one is to never drive it hahaha.
  9. That sounds good what tescos is that mate?
  10. ha, they all were the roads were crap, I understand on the busy side of things mate. good luck with time attack.
  11. No wonder your putting your shoes in the oven, surprised you've even managed to find time to put fuel in the zed let alone build it. Sounds like you need a holiday mate.
  12. That's more wildlife than most see in a year lol, now if you happen to go hitting a pheasant/partridge in such a manner, ie not making a mess of the tasty bit, post it ere haha.
  13. Any ideas when these will be available mate? And yes he spent longer sat in it listening to it idle when he arrived than he did throwing a dirty cloth over it to make it "clean" when he succumbed to peer pressure :P
  14. I assume its because you like myself hate that stupid pole chasing you every time you turn on the ignition, if so just unhook the connection in the boot its located literally by the radio Ariel, this will stop it popping up.
  15. welcome back rob
  16. That's odd theres normally a thin paper gasket, a bead of silicone can do the job, worth a shot.
  17. Yes I have twice, its easy :D just a little fiddly. Worst bit it as you say getting the old elbows off without snapping anything..... shit loads of wd40 and an overnight soak is the way forward.
  18. LOl they used to all be Christian 20 odd years ago though didn't they....
  19. Yeah about two weeks late bri, w'eve all ranted over this already! haha
  20. Bob on, however really I wonder how much of an issue this will even be.
  21. Religion and creed are not the problem, shit people use and abuse these things to find reason to their shit ways. These people are scum, and this country has lost its balls, at age 27 I can say I have never experienced a Britain united, a Britain with a real leader, hell I don't even consider myself British, I'm English, Britain stands for anything soft euro governed and fluff. Many people my age are either leaving, trying to leave or wishing they could. The job market is dire, due to the economy and the higher retirement age meaning older people holding onto their roles and people not moving up the ladder. Those who are willing to work are not rewarded but penalised, those that don't are rewarded and were paying for them. Our rights are pants, and the offender has more rights than offended. This country is going to the dogs very quickly, and its my future children I feel most sorry for, as there Britain will be a shadow of what was once the greatest country in the world. Time we got out the EU found a Politian will brass and cleaned house.
  22. there are also two half moon things that sit on the rear of the cam covers, if its been onfire these could have melted.
  23. Our pesky critter.
