That was a K including rebuilding the turbos bud, but to get someone else to pull your block is labour intensive ie expensive.

Why not send Jimmer a friendly email, explain your situation, thoughts and plans for the car. He would then be able to advise you which way to go and roughly what sort of cost would be entailed. A grand already to get to that point is yes pretty expensive, you certainly wouldn't get your engine pulled rebuilt and refitted for less than 2k. It cost me nearly a grand to pull my block and refresh all the little niggly service items and rebuild the turbos, that's with no labour, and not even opening the engine. Personally I would leave the damn thing alone and service it, it sounds like an ok block, but that's me im happy to fiddle with it and work on it. If you don't like or feel comfortable putting the spanners on it then a rebuild would probably be long term cost effective.

Possibly, however nick made just shy of 600 on smaller tubs last week didn't he so...Although didn't you say you already know?

think il be using godspeeds, longer reputation for them and cheaper.

As far as I'm aware the na drive shafts are 5 bolt the tt ones are 6 bolt. Or do you mean will the hub assembly fit? pretty sure they are different aswel as they use different bearings.

Lack of anything to compare against? Not mechanically minded? You would be surprised how many people cant tell the difference between a nut and a bolt.

The whole point of a torque wrench is to get the right setting which should stop you snapping bolts, stripping treads. I know your about 8ft tall bri but I think maybe you need to be a little more gentle.

Well it can only be leaking round the joints, and there are only three on each side. Process of elimination, you can always get an assistant to pop something over of the tail pipes to increase the restriction and increase the obviousness of the leak.

So basically you've created more work for poor old jimmer being over enthusiastic on the skidpan haha. Where was that? always fancied taking mine on a skid pan nice safe environment to learn to control it better.

The above part is the divorce section to stop the gasses mixing from the waste gate. It will work better with it, but I doubt it will cause issues without. As for the fitment mines the same it only just catches on the gearbox mounting bracket. Japspeeds by any chance?

How did the day go for both teams? any photos? Brands will probably be the easiest event for me to get to this year, what sort of price does it cost to spectate for the day?
