Who knows anything about either of these cars? a local chap has just brought a leopard, under the bonnet is a vg30de like the one found in a z31 300zr not a non turbo z32 ie with a single plenum entry plenum.

LOL, I said double not 100k plus double lol, quarter mile in the back garden lol...It certainly means I can attend more meets, as atm I have to budget to cover to petrol costs for most lol. Be very carefull there bud, its sounding suspiciously more like something internal, id be doing a compression test and checking the water levels, oil filler cap etc, something sounds seriously a miss here my friend.

The black stripe is actually a plastic panel, that clips on. The earlier models like ours, the spoiler is bonded over that section, so they are exclusive parts you cant use both. However did I spot the other day yours has been de-spoilered? that part is available again though mjp for cheaper than what Nissan will sell it to you.

Also the vg30dett does not build boost in neutral, you may gain 2psi but that's about it bud.

Does it do it on idle and below 2k? The turbo oil seals can pass oil at idle in this fashion, because its not combusted it doesn't burn blue it vaporises and goes greyish white.

It may be a hose thats split rather than teh cylinder itself or the slave thats died.

99 spec centre pannel, has red letters and looks better. also try mike at mjp first, probably cheaper. i know zcentre sell the centre section 99 spec aswel.

as above, its really common for the little flaped part of the seal to rise up and the bonding fail it then leaks underneath, jeffg has covered it as a tech write up somewhere.

As some of you may well know, me and my girlfriend have been trying pretty hard to get our hands on some deposit money for our first property, the massive amount needed coupled with my poor salary and here period of 6 months unemployed, has meant that many things have been pretty slow, the car for one. Other things have just been more important finacially, it was looking at one point as if i would have to sell the zed, thankfully she got a job but even then the running costs would cripple my mearge salary once we were paying a mortgauge, so id either have to keep it and hope it didnt break/never use it or just sell it. Well im happy to report that for the last month ive been keeping something to myself, I HAVE A NEW JOB. The contract starts in august, includes many benifits that include a new company van, phone etc and the salary is double my previous one. All in all that means, we can save way more over the next 6 months, get a far better mortgauge, i can keep the zed and continue the project. Infact ive alreday had the go ahead from the boss that as a treat to myself for this once we are in the new house i can get myself a nice shiney new pair of snails. :clap: To say im chuffed is an understatement, its taken so much stress off us and means we can finially get on with our lives. Now for the fun of getting the mortagauge offer, finding a house and buying it, fun time ahead:pinch:
