  1. I thought you may say that, which Is why I also mentioned the beaver tail.
  2. My mrs car does this as she never drives it more than a mile. I wouldn't worry too much, will likely clear after a run.

Evening guys can we have a show of hands please, it strikes me that list is a bit out of date. So if we could start a new one with current members I think that would be a smart move.
  4. Just for anyone who is undecided, yes its a long way off but now Is the time giving plenty of time for arrangement's to be made. Access to this event is pretty good, its just off the m4 so pretty easy to access from almost the whole country which is rare. With both time attack cars coming and an amount of track time available there's plenty there for the members who want a bit more go than show. Previous years have had a good turn out with the same faces being seen each year, plus the breakie is good and reasonably priced. Ive also driven in and out without quing for the last two years on the trot, just gotta get up on time. If the demand is there we can sort out an early bird convoy near the m4 roll in on time on mass.
  5. oh dear...some are easier than others, they can all be done without removing the plenum with some modifications though.
  6. Probably be cheaper to hire a trailer or beaver tail.
  7. I googled it as I didn't know think it's a fuelling relay, it's related to shut down procedure. There's a fair bit on thereof you type in EGI relay 300zx
  8. How do you mean you get nothing... You get a resistance of 0? Silly question but is it clean? Or is it green?
  9. Sure the injector itself is faulty? Not the connection?
  10. The words surface rust ring alarm bells. However it looks tidy and some money has been spent recently it might just be a honest seller. Always best to view in person.
  11. Pm on its way rich.
  12. I know how it is rich, like blood from a stone sometimes. My point is, we originally started discussing the 25 years months ago, as something special takes time. Lots of time has past and very little has occurred, publically anyway at least. The new year is fast approaching and the show season with it, once the season kicks off it's going to be hard pushed to arrange and slot in a "25th anniversary" we all know how time flys. Without getting on it ASAP we are in real danger of simply tagging it on as a hoorah at bloody JAE, this simply isn't suitable. I wanna see big, 25th anniversary stickers articles in the glossies etc. I'm not expecting to make these statements and sit back waiting for it to happen. I'm keen to do what I can, you know that, I have the very best intentions for the marque and this owners club.
  13. I can see that quickly falling under the rug, very little had been discuses let alone implemented as far as I'm aware.
  14. At least you admit to it. There's people here that post up that issue, then would swear blind their new pump was leaky whilst rushing out to buy a replacement.
  15. I remember the speed holes lol
  16. It took people to push its planetary geared assign to the garage as well! How you finding it daz?
  17. It seems some cars sat around unregistered a fair while after production.
  18. Let me know if your looking at something near mate, keep seeing a yellow one for sale in fareham no idea about it though.
  19. Tbf any discussion on the power of a tt not being that much more is arbitrary. The power difference is the same as most family saloons in 1990. Also bear in mind that the z32 is detuned. Being the first car to abide to the Japanese hp agreement. The mapping is crap and the boost is pretty low stock. Hence the reason even a mild chip makes a massive difference. I went out in Hellraisers swb na manual and it did feel pretty pokey but lacked the same grunt higher up, in sure the diff comes into play here. In a straight line a manual na would take a tt till about 40mph at which point the tt even auto would then walk past and make serious gains. On a circuit it would be down to the driver.... Thing is if you haven't had both you will always want the tt, I had a 130hp Capri lighter than the 2.8 probably sod all in it head to head, didn't stop me always wanting the full fat version. That's why I refused to buy an na z32
  20. Very few na owners don't want to upgrade to tt at some stage. At low speeds the gearing of the na makes it feel as quick as a stock tt but once you start building any speed ie over 40mph the tt just takes off. If it's been remapped even more so.
  21. Yes that exercise in futility and being hip with the kids.
  22. Does my head in that, your sat there in a low car, they are sat there in a ranger rover or copy of refusing to get it dirty on the verge expecting you to instead. ESP when your literally and quite obviously unable to mount the verge even if you wanted too. My mrs actually ditched a focus like this forced off the road by some middle class madam in a rangie.
