Being a grown up sucks doesn't it, there's always work to be done.

Manifold gasket drivers side
I notice the steering rack is detached there as well, is the frame dropped or just the main shaft disconnected?

No, no AFR or timings were taken. It was just a rollor session. I might be wrong he might have had another since.

What battery?
I had the Bosch one and it was fine, till I cooked it haha. I purchased a replacement from halfords with my trade card which made it pretty cheap :)

If I'm thinking correctly that was the last dyno run jimmer did with it, it was gonna make more but they backed off as it was starting to det, unfortunately there was no AFR reading taken. So it will blatantly go north of 500.

How do I get one of these?
I saw one of those come up for sale here on the club, the centre section was missing though.

What did you do to your zed today?
It very may well be those wheels used to be on my car lol.

Trax 2014 and Other events, will there be club stands?
Exactly, 5+ hours each way is a long journey to just spectate or turn spanners, I do a lot if miles each week for work I don't really fancy jamming another 600 miles into things.

Hello!
You often don't accrue any NBC on a classic policy, but hell mines just over £150 so who cares.

new ulitimate wheels tonight at 9pm on history
There is a silver one at Haynes motor museum and the stock car is quite something considering it's age as well, it's massive for starters.

ive had an intresting read and had some fun?
I think reading between posts we've got quite similar builds on the go dan. I haven't started the big stuff yet, it's all chassis and simplification till I've paid for the wedding.

About to restore a Z32 that's sat for 7 years. Can you all help me? LOTS of questions
Diffs the r200 short nose 4.08 in an na. Apparently it's the rb25 engined cars apparently, tbh the box has a few wear and year issues but overall it's no chocolate box. You don't hear about people having to rebuild the box to cope with 500hp A few of the guys use K&N and HKS and tbh that seems fine, oem is cheap readily available and that's all good by me. As for swapping out for a turbo motor, I wouldn't worry about that straight away. It's brings complications, the NAs are pretty tough esp considering your intentions, I'm guessing aswel being at uni the budget isn't endless, staying NA keeps down costs, less to break and less to fix.

10 secs no lol. I'd be chuffed with low 12s or chuffed to nuts with high 11s, I'm not building a big budget monster as I say, I'm building simple as possible no nonsense little warrior. Watch this space over the next 24 months lol.

Trax 2014 and Other events, will there be club stands?
Toss up really, I certainly won't be participating. WAY behind. I did consider going up as spanner hands but it's a long and quite expensive journey from down here in Poole to York.

Ok the general oil we use is 10-40w semi synth, always use an OEM oil filter. Fuel filter should be located on the right inner wing just below the battery. Pretty sure mine 510 starting amps and came from halfords. The gearbox is virtually identical to the skyline box, so no worries there. Infact you will find is quite surprising how much of the skyline r32 came from the same parts bin the z32 did some years earlier. The air filters are located under the nose pannel and you will be hard pushed to find anyone without some sort of aftermarket air filter, be in cone or mushroom type. The na diff you have is a viscous LSD in the r200 format which may be familiar to you. Hand brKes wise is say pretty average for a rwd car ie naff at anything other than being a parking brake. Your first priority is to replace every last coolants hose you can change all fluids and flush through, clean up the engine bay connectors, injectors etc, they really suffer here. Then run the ECU codes and make friends which someone with consult.

If your looking for a participation event the guys are forming a team for TOTB

So where are you now?
Next general election will be another Co-allition, no party has enough supporters id put money on it. Labour have left a bad taste in peoples mouth, Blair and Gordon ruined this country lefts be honest. The tories aren't ideal, however I certainly feel things have improved since they came in, I've got taxed less, not a lot but it was about an extra 100 quid in my pocket. The economy has improved, I got a better job as my company is growing, so was able to offer me a job. The banks improved and the minimum deposit amount fell so we were able after lots of hard work to buy our first house, all things I doubt would have happened if labour had remained in power. Lib dems have lost so much face they wont get another crack, I see a conservative/ukip coalition affront.

Not unachievable, by a long way. Not cheap though...I have a dream but I don't care to discuss it openly as its less of a big bucks more of a think harder type build.
