  1. Probably not gaz, robots tend to not care about a pretty weld and go for sheer strength, a good penatratrive weld. On a few if those you can see the stop start marks were that particular run has started and finished, because of the angle they have had to life reposition, rearc and go. So lovely work though, known a fair few blokes that are able to weld to that level.
  2. Sorry misread that, I read that as you had hit a rock with one of the stock ones and were told to replace it with a front mount.
  3. Pretty much. I just think it's hilarious how two companies can both buy the same parts from the same Chinese manufacturer one sells cheap but pays little attention to quality control the other charges double or triple and choose to paint it a different colour. The former gets slagged to hell and the second is considered a quality product :s it's the shame shit just a different colour!? The other one that is laughable is, china can't make quality. Yes they can they make near on ******* everything.
  4. There are issues with those too tbh. But many parts are generally ok, the bad publicity of there "little" cock ups and their way of handing it afterwards is the kicker. They make SOME ok bits, you get what you pay for and their stuff is cheap.
  5. Hrm...I'm sure it will be fine. Lots of people have those without issue.
  6. Why don't you just replace the broken intercooler with a second hand stock one for now. Cheap and proper fix. You certinatly don't need a FMIC.
  7. I was under the impression that unless you had them balanced you were wasting your time? One of mine was tighter than the other but they both rotated extremely smoothly. I also took a 5ml syringe and injected clean oil a few times into the turbo oil feed. I dunno if that was right or wrong but it just seemed like a half good idea before firing the engine up. Don't forget to crank the engine over to get some oil circulating before you fire it up for the first time.
  8. That's literally a few miles away from me.
  9. Has is got BOVs by any chance?
  10. I actually heaved a bit then.

    Welcome :)
  13. There not even legs, some ones hollowed out a pair of kebab meats and turned them into chaps.
  14. I must admit Russ you do have the calves.
  15. Maybe have a look at what is suitable and realistic for you. Having a highly tuned engine can be great, it also comes with drawbacks. I know you want to be faster than your mate, but 400 on the road is worth 800 constantly in bits if you see what I'm saying. The best weapon against any supra owner is there belief that it's the fastest car Eva blud
  16. Nothing quite like a slickpete reply.
  17. BA=Big Ass I believe, yeah the 2.5" ones.
  18. I wouldn't worry too much about auto and manual engine differences. Mine made 283 virtually stock and there were issues lol. If your converting auto to manual your first go at home with hobby grade tools available I'd bargain for a few days graft on it. It's not complex it's just time consuming, changing the box is the straight forward part. If you don't know off the top of your head or have the information to hand it will slow you down ALOT.
  19. Terrible shame when this happens. I did hear that this particular case they managed to tow it back to deeper water where it fully recovered. The tag fell of in the South Pacific where it was thought to be feeding on massive krill blooms.
  20. This is where simon tells us he is friends with Miranda Kerr...
  21. Where did you get that? Sounds ideal.
  22. This is where I am now;
  23. I joke of corse, that wareham forest about 10 minutes up the road. TBF though, we are surrounded here by heathlands, woodlands etc. Infact I'm over the back at present with the dog and have spent this morning bankside.
