Tt injector
I think they are like the top ones, trouble is I would describe as brown. Brown could infer either. Do NA injectors remain quite red then?

Tt injector
Is there a solid reliable way to identify tt injectors over NA? After this mess over the NA engine I want to ensure I've got what I think I've got. I know what colour they should be but as you likely know they fade/change colour. I've looked into flow testing them to be sure but this works out at £21+postage+vat per injector which soon adds up, il go that way if I must but I thought there may be a printed code etc?

quick question about engine removal
As above and getting anything and everything that's easy to remove off gives you space to work and see. Removing the fan and Ancileries doesn't take very long, get the radiator out the way etc. Space is the enemy with these cars.

Who was it that wanted a Veilside exhaust?
Actually, no, no parts falling off....

Decisions decisions - Caliper colour!
Black on your car Si. Mine are red, I think it's ok though as brembos are traditionally red and it colour codes with the car.

Who was it that wanted a Veilside exhaust?
Well there's a bar, that's the least desirable platform, NA, auto and Lwb. Be interesting to see what it fetches as it's structurally rather hammered too, rust on sills, arches and even the roof bar it's also been written off at one stage... Expect a rock bottom price.

Slicktop TT manual
I recon it will cost about at least half the asking price to get it looking nice again, removing the snot etc. I'm always half on the look out for a slicktop as if really quite like one. Don't want to pay £15 odd grand to get there though. Very limited resale I think personally that car.

Tension Rod Knock?
Check the lower main arm thoroughly as well as they have a habit of cracking where the tension rod bolts up.

What's going on here....!!??
"Very nearly bought a 300zx z32 before getting the 928, test drove several and in my mind they are a great example of a GT car. The only reason I didn't buy one was that spare parts are pretty expensive. I do remember reading a review on an owners club site saying something like "if your going to own a zed, buy a second one to keep as a donor for the parts your going to need". (lol if only I hadn't spent so much on the Zed and the upgrades."

0-60
Trust me it's not about bravely it's just difficult.
-
0-60
I agree, most will be hitting 5s, the quality of the rubber and the skill of the driver is probably the limiting factor more so than power, because that only makes things harder. Once mines back on the road il have a play, it snaked like hell just before it came off the road due to badly worn hicas and subframe bushes.
-
0-60
Yeah odd, as you say yours is a quick car and your an experienced and consistent strip driver so I don't doubt what your saying. However it just seems odd that so many have reported recorded those kind of numbers of the years, people not associated with being fibbers... Come to think of it car and driver managed to squeeze a 5.0 flat 0-60 out if a bone stock manual swb when new, I believe they switched to a more shall we say grippy tyre. So with the right traction some good driving and the easy stuff done it would make sense to be seeing mid 4s.

0-60
Quite a few have reported mid to high 4 sec 0-60 times recorded by gps over the years on here, with the usual chip and boost upgrade etc. They are a pig to launch quickly though that is true. Lots of anti squat and old bushes don't help. They always want to spin or bog.
