  1. Glad you had a good day and sorry that I missed it. There will definatly be an event in August, I'm otherwise busy the whole of June, but July may or rather should yeild something, so keep you eyes peeled.
  2. That's the current plan. Simply to cut the orginal seat a mm or so deeper. It's not that bad just frustrating.
  3. Drivers side brembo front. The last one to bleed which helps with the illusion that it's working to start with.
  4. That's the exact conclusion we came to. It's a serious buisness stopping, not much room for error. So in a way I'm glad we found it and we found it before it caused a problem beyond a spongey peddle.
  5. Yup that's the issue :(
  6. He can be useful at times
  7. Ok, il sort that tomorrow.
  8. I can edit my own posts still just no PMs I assume my subs ran out. Can't tell as it just says REO. If so I need to sort that
  9. My PMS have disappeared, think my subs have run out. Phone number is xxxxxxxxxxx, gimme a text tomorrow and we can sort it out.
  10. Sadly I can't attend guys. I've explained a little better in my project thread but I can't justify the time ATM without my car which isn't ready.
  11. Basically one of the bleed nipples sheared off on the caliper. Common issue with these by the sounds of it. So I pain staking lay drilled out the thread half a mm at a time. Sadly it appears I've nicked the caliper body and the nipple no longer seals properly. That's my leak. Gaz popped over this evening and we tried to rectify the spongey brakes, at which point he noticed this fault. Any ideas greatly recived. Sadly japfest is now out. Despite my best efforts I fell at the final hurdle today. With the wedding a meer two weeks away now I simply cannot justify driving the other halfs kia to castle combe in the early hours. To walk round the event and then leave early when an increasing list of stuff builds up here. So sadly I'm out :( Rest assured though my zed will be on the road over the next week or so once I get round this pesky issue.
  12. I'm not able to make it tomorrow. Is there another way I can collect that skin off you for gaz? I'm in Warminster Monday.
  13. Need to get in touch with him ASAP.
  14. Il get it sorted this week, just miffed as I really wanted to get out on track.
  15. Sadly there's some bad news though. There's a tiny issue with one of the new calipers meaning I can't sustain brake pressure. They get progressively worse over time. So essentially I need to sort that before I can drive it. Failed on a minior detail the day before. Gutted doesn't cover it.

As far as I'm aware no convoy has been arranged mate. I probably should have sorted ac few things but I've got my head up my arse ATM.
  17. It's a bit like that but the opposite at the rear. The front I could get my fist in the arch gap.
  18. Well I'm at the mot place. Few things noted on the mile drive here...firstly there's still an issue with the brakes that needs attention. The alignment settings are as suspected silly. I need way less negative camber at the rear and more low at the front. It looks a touch comical at present.
  19. Actually there was a van in the left lane that they were passing but it's parallel with Andrews car so you can see it yet. Howard was indicating left to move back in. However the camera did not catch this...that's what he told me anyway. :whistling:
  20. Phew, sorted. I have to admit though there's still not that rock solid progressive feel you get on a new car.
  21. Yup they are all in there :) looking swish. I think I just realised a mistake. The rear calipers the bleed nipple is facing down. The bleed point is fairly central but I think they should be the other way up. Can I just unbolt and flip them for the bleeding process?
  22. Oh I rolled the arches as well so I can run the proper camber at the rear again.
  23. Got some fiddly crap done today. Just waiting on my helper to bleed the brakes. The mot is booked for 4pm tomorrow, so fingers crossed all goes smoothly. That's me finishing work on time, the brakes bleeding properly and it passing it's mot. This is how it looks right now. Dirty but more complete than it has been for about 4 months.
  24. That looks great from behind.
